Kenmore Refrigerator —
I have had to replace this Kenmore Elite with ice & water in the door with the bottom freezer twice. Thank God for the lemon law because they were both lemons. Both had freezer problems; the seal prevented a tight fit causing thawing of frozen goods in the freezer, major bucks there. There was never enough ice; it wouldn't make enough in one day for one person. Things in the back of the frig part would freeze and things in the front wouldn't get cold enough and both would ruin, more bucks. I have thrown away more food than I can average and ice costs past $2,000. I would not advise purchase of this model. The service department didn't know how to repair it and it has gone on now for over 2 years. If anyone knows how the service department works you know it takes for ever to get one thing fixed; e.g. call the service dept. and make an appt., 3 weeks later the tech comes out and orders a part, wait for the part over a week, 3 more weeks goes bye the part comes in and you call for the tech to come out to put it in and if you're lucky it's the right part and if not you go thru the whole process again. There really needs to be something done about this process they use. Bye the time you get your correct part and you have 4 calls on one item then you have justified for the lemon law and a replacement. GEEEZ !!!
