Kenmore Refrigerator - Elite Side by Side — 

After owning this refrigerator for four years, the icemaker quit working.  Turns out it is a sensor that appears to go out quite often.  Cost: almost 100.00 plus labor.  Six months later, the freezer begins to freeze over, leak on the floor and heat up the refrigerator side, spoiling everything inside.  After hours of defrosting, cleaning and clearing the drain line, days later it is back to the same tricks again. Now we are told it is either the defrost timer or lack of freon, both will cost more than I am willing to spend. I always thought Kenmore was a great brand but after loosing 2000+ on this refrigerator and another 900 on my Kenmore dishwasher, I will never purchase another.
