Kenmore Range Convection Oven works well but is discolored

Kenmore Range - Electric —

It works great! I love my convection oven. I just cooked my Thanksgiving turkey and it was so moist and delicious. I love being able to bake three dozen cookies at the same time. However, I have one very huge complaint. After just one oven self-clean, the white parts around the edge of my oven are discolored. I have tried unsuccessfully to clean it with vinegar, Soft Scrub, Comet, and soda. No luck. The discolor remains. I am considering trying to get my money back and purchasing another range. If one oven cleaning has stained the range so badly, what will this unit look like in a year?
