Kenmore Quiet Guard Dishwasher does not wash dishes well very noise and the wash time is 4 hr

The Kenmore Quiet Guard 3 dishwasher advertised a deep lower basket, but they designed the top basket to also sit low, thus it is hard to put large plates or pots on the bottom.  I do like the fact that it will heat the water up and I like the extra baskets you can use for baby items and small items you don't want tossed to the bottom of the dishwasher.  It cleans the dishes well if your plates in the bottom don't have to lean too much because of their size.  While it does have little slots for wine glasses, most of ours do not fit in them very well.  You can remove the silverware basket for...

It leaves most of the dishes dirty, if not even More dirty! I can't figure it out, i think it tried almost everything- heavy/normal wash, different soap, polisher, etc...it takes the soap, its really hot when i open it, but have to re-wash most of my dishes after I take them out from the dishwasher! I already brush off the dishes before putting them in... I quit using it rather than double the work!

The Kenmore Quiet Guard Dishwasher saved my marriage. This is true and factual.

When I got married about what seems like 100 years ago dishwashers were new and not worked out yet. Lots of flaws and beating your dishes on the rocks down by the river wasn't much better so we just used a sink.

I messed up with my soon to be wife by washing dishes with her and letting her see me wash the back of the plates. She is very picky but when she saw that she said I could wash her dishes anytime which after marriage became a lot of time.

My dishes were not getting clean, though I had only had the dishwasher less than a year, so I dismantled the inner part where the water came in. I thought perhaps cleaning the hair and grease from the parts would make it more efficient like it does for other things. I was able to put it back together, but it never ran right after that. Eventually it stopped running at all. Now it just sits there while we do dishes by hand. I know that I need to call and get it repaired. My complaint is that it should never have been collecting the grease in its cheap plastic parts in the first place.

The Kenmore Quiet Guard (standard) was in my house when we moved in - and had been installed only a year before (during which time the house was empty). I seldom use a dishwasher, however when I realized the stench was coming from it, I started. It is the noisiest machine ever! Only one cycle works at all, it is unreliable, and the door does not stay open for loading/unloading. It's cheaply made. I cannot imagine what would happen with a whole family's worth of dishes (there are two of us).

Awful product, I cannot recommend it at all.
