I've made made many things with my sewing machine. For School (many moons ago) I made a stuffed animal, turned it in for my grade. I decided to give it to my future husband, he asked where I bought it. I told him I made it. He could believe it and said "No Way" I said I sure did. The stitching was very well constructed from the machine, and he still has it to this day. Over 30 years later.
