My husband and I purchased this Kenmore Microwave Oven #63359 in black from our local Sears store around three years ago.  The original price was $129 but the day we were there, it happened to be on sale for $89.  Not a bad price at all for a Kenmore.

It was great when we first brought it home.  It was easy to use, good size everything worked fine.  But after awhile maybe six months to a year it would short out, the lcd display would blank out.  Then it finally stopped working one day.  Not very happy, I feel that an appliance like this should... review »

I purchased on Saturday at sears and returned to store on Sunday as ads in paper- 10 dollars cheaper for the same product advertized at K-mart than at Sears.  I returned on Monday as the turntable was defective.  I need to return tomorrow as the door is broken.  A total milage of 200 miles round trip at IRS .50/mile equals $100 out of pocket expense to end up with nothing as I will not try again.  The first item purchased appeared to be restocked item as was not packaged in the same manner as the second purchase.  Will be a long time before trying Sears K-mart again- Lowes and Home Depot are... review »

I purchased an 80833(50) model microwave. This version is near the top of the line from Kenmore. The Electronic controls are intuitive and with the polished stainless steel front it is very easy on the eyes as well. I was able to install it myself in the existing over range space occupied by my previous microwave. It took about an hour or so. We use it for cooking vegitables, defrosting and popcorn. We don't cook in it really it is just for side dishes etc.

Quality Issues: Almost immediately we had trouble with the translating rotating tray, I is really cool if it works, but the dish inside was...

I had purchased this mirowave from Sears a little over a month ago.  I looked through reviews and noticed a lot of negative reviews about this product.  I even asked the salesman about the product and he said they were mainly false.  He was kinda rude with me and pushy for a sale.  My other microwave lasted for 5 yrs but met it's end from a lightning storm.

The Kenmore 1200 watt microwave had all the features I wanted.  Great power, inside space and was rated #1 by consumer reports.  I purchased the microwave hoping that I wouldn't get a lemon.  I had the microwave for...

After 25 yrs having the same microwave I was not looking forward to replacing my old friend, but I did not have any choice as my friend was no longer working.   I saw the Kenmore Elite and just decided to give it a try.  I love it, one touch operation on so many of the things I cook for my family is fantastic.  I will admit that at first I was intimidated by all the options on the panel, but once I dove in and just started using the features I am patting myself on the back for such a wise purchase.  Kenmore has a good name and kept telling myself I could count on it to be a good product. ...

We've been a microwaving owning family for over twenty years now. In fact my first microwave was a Kenmore and so is the one I have know. Yeah, you guessed it we've only had to buy two. And to top it off the first one never quit working, it just didn't match my home decor anymore. No we did't get it in black, our mistake. Now we know thats not very green of us, to keep appliances for that long! But who can afford to go out and buy new appliances every other year? Not us, and besides with two children in the house. We had better things to spend money on. Thats why we've been loyal Kenmore customers...

This Kenmore microwave is a huge microwave, that has a modern touch button front. The inside has 2 shelves so you can either cook two dishes at the same time or reheat 2 plates at the same time. It's totally tough and durable, solid made with a very modern design, you might not even know what it is , if you come into the house. The inside is very large, so you can use all of your casserole pans, etc. This Kemore brand Microwave is a long lasting appliance that will last for years to come.Whether you choose this Kenmore Microve or any other one of their brand, you will be very satified for many years...

The Kenmore 721 1100 watt microwave oven is a fairly low-priced oven that gives nice results.  I have cooked everything from popcorn to raw meat, with no complaints.  This microwave offers a great deal of cooking space for its small appearance.  The food cooks while spinning around on a glass turntable with a 12" diameter.  There is a kitchen timer and 10 power levels.  The timer goes up to 100 minutes

This is a good microwave, when space is limited.  The oven does make more noise than you may be used to.  If you want to make the oven quieter, you can try putting something underneath it...

The over the range Kenmore does its job pretty well . It does have a couple of faults: the  1 lb. hamburger defrost has cooked the edge of the meat more than once, even when I tried turning it over and changing polition on the turntablean extra amount of times ..   After 1 year and 2 weeks the stove top light burned out.

The absolute moronic idea of the "night light"/stove top light a 20 watt halogen bulb, is not available anywhere ( a 2 element bulb for the 2 light levels)  except at the Sears parts order online, at a cost of  $22.99.  The single phase bulbs for lamps, outdoor lighting...

The Kenmore 1100 watt microwave oven is a very handy appliance.  Heating hot cocoa takes about 1 1/2 minutes to the perfect temperature.  The preset times are great for some of the things but with baked potatoes you can't accurately have a preset time because sizes of potatoes vary greatly.  I've found that popping Pop Weavers microwave popcorn doesn't take the allotted preset time so you have to watch it carefully or you'll have burned popcorn.  Overall my red microwave is great. I'd rather have a different color but for the money I couldn't pass it up.  I purchased it in April 2009 along...

We bought a Kenmore Microwave #20-66229 just two weeks ago. It wasn't worth packing home. When I try to open the door, sometimes the whole unit slides across the counter! I have to hold it down with one hand and pull the door with the other.

Then, after only two weeks of using it--and sparingly, at that--the timer counts down but the unit will not come on. This happens intermittently. We are returning it and will try to find a unit that is more reliable and easier to use!

Don't buy this unit!

By the way, this unit may not be the same as the one that is being reviewed by others here. I could not...

i love my microwave... this is the best one i have ever had so far.  it works great.  its so nice looking and it cooks food really fastly.  its not big and bulky so you can just put it on your counter.  i dont know what i would do without my microwave it has to be one of the best out there.  kenmore is my favorite applance people and i would buy anything that they offer if you are in the market for a new microwave you should deffently look into this one i hope that you enjoy.

This is a good microwave.  Kenmore is a trusted brand and always has been.  It's got enough power to cook anything you want.  Instuctions are easy to follow and set up is easy.  It is easy to use and clean and is an attractive unit. The price is right and it should last you a long time.  It would make a good Christmas gift! It comes with a warranty option.
