Kenmore Microwave - 1100 Watt Review

The over the range Kenmore does its job pretty well . It does have a couple of faults: the  1 lb. hamburger defrost has cooked the edge of the meat more than once, even when I tried turning it over and changing polition on the turntablean extra amount of times ..   After 1 year and 2 weeks the stove top light burned out.

The absolute moronic idea of the "night light"/stove top light a 20 watt halogen bulb, is not available anywhere ( a 2 element bulb for the 2 light levels)  except at the Sears parts order online, at a cost of  $22.99.  The single phase bulbs for lamps, outdoor lighting etc. burn out in 2 days or a week and cost $5..  The cost of the Sears bulb is unacceptable.
