I was specifically looking for a not too expensive but nice RED coffee maker to match my other kitchen appliances, and was pleased when I came across this Kenmore model. It's quick, and easy, makes 12 cups of coffee. You do not have to buy the coffee filters, but can if you want to. It has a built in one. It has a freshness meter, that beeps every 15 minutes so you know how fresh your coffee is, along with a green glowing LCD screen. (although..I do find the beeping to be annoying, but that could just be me) It's all digital which is nice, and has stainless steel looking trim, which makes it look a lot more fancier (expensive) than it is. As far as coffeemakers go...I give this one a definate A+. I love the design, and easy to use features.
