When the heat went out a few months ago we decided to purchase a space heater that was capable of heating a whole room and more. I like the look of the Kenmore 4000, because it blends in with my other furniture. My husband and I are very impressed with how much heat this small heater puts out, when I close the bedroom doors and place this heater in the living room, I am able to heat the rooms I am using during the day, and it's a warm clean heat. I like the remote that is included, and how it shuts off when the room has reached the desired temperature, but comes on when the temperature drops below. A huge plus is how portable it is, I can push it into the bathroom if one of us is taking a shower, or if I need to heat a room that I am in. My regular heat is working again but have found that I set the thermostat at a lower temp because I use this heater more often, I'm actually waiting on the electric bill to see if it will make a difference, I hope it will. We are planning on buying a second heater, then I would be able to heat most of the house with 2 Kenmore 4000. The price is great, it's easy to use, and produces a clean heat.

I can't say enough positive things about Kenmore infrared room heater series 4000. We live in an older home that was built in the 30's. In the 50's they added a sunroom that is now our bedroom. It has its own heating system but it is so expensive to use. This winter got so cold we couldn't stand it anyone. We got this amazing heater and It really does make a huge difference. First of all the design is so wonderful. It looks great in our bedroom. It keeps us warm all night and day without overheating and drying the room out. I also love that it isn't too expensive to keep on for most of the day. Yes, this heater is a bit more expensive than most other stationary heaters but it looks and works great! Performance This heater keeps the room warm without tasking the moisture out. Ease of Use It is beyond easy to use this heater!! Durability Great durability. Design A sleek and beautiful design. Safety Great safety features. I would recommend this heater to anyone looking for one!

I moved into a townhouse last week and by the day after moving I discovered that the only thing wrong with the unit is that the heater heats the upstairs great, but does a really crummy job of heating the downstairs living area. I knew I wanted a space heate Or something similar but wanted to stay away from the old school ones like the ones with coils since I have a toddler. I am blown away with how well this Kenmore Infared heater heats the area. It keeps not only the downstairs warm but it actually does a pretty good job of keeping the whole townhouse clean. I love that it fits in with my decor and other furniture better than a metal space heater would. It's way more attractive which is a plus. The infared design seems safer to me too. Which was and is a big deal to me. I would definitely buy more of these if I had a bigger space. I give mine a ten out of ten and recommend them for sure.

The heat in the house I rent went out for two and a half weeks in December during a crazy cold snap and the Kenmore Infrared Room Heater Series 4000 saved me. I love that it's portable, it allowed me to take it from room to room as needed and even though it's small it produces an amazing amount of heat. I definitely recommend this for anyone who has a small area that needs heated when you can't do it the traditional way. Performance For such a small heater, it really does emit quite a bit of heat. i was very impressed with the performance. It worked perfect in my mid-sized rooms. Ease of Use It's really simple to get this heater working, you won't even have to read the directions. Design The design is why I ended up getting this heater over some of the other choices out there. I've never really seen a pretty space heater, but this one somehow manages it. I love the wood look to it, and it goes way better with my furniture than something black or metallic would.

The Kenmore Infrared Heater is an excellent small investment. With house guests coming over and all the fuss that comes with this is one of the most simplified things you can do. I keep it in one room in our home for guests and allow them to have custom heating to add an extra touch of comfort to their stay. It has a pretty attractive appearance for the most part but it also has a few great features some our smaller space heaters don't. For instance, it has a remote control but also an easy push button operation system that is easy to use and easy to see. It also offers some extra innovation because it is a built in fan as well. One appliance for summer and winter alike. The best thing about it is it's energy saver. I am always so concerned about how we will budget for our heating bill in the winter months but this model has energy saving settings that shrink my worries and we have been able to stat within our budget as far as heating goes. I rarely turn on our thermostat and rely on this and several smaller ones as well for several different rooms in our home and it seems to work out for us. It also is quite safe because it has tip over technology and the exterior doesn't get hot which was a bit of a worry because I have 2 younger children. It really works great and will last for years without requiring very much upkeep. Ease of Use comes with push button and remote control Safety Tip over protection

I wasn't a fan of this heater but it I bought it without fully understanding how it worked. I thought this heater was actually a space heater that could warm up a room and keep me toasty where I didn't have any heat (basement, garage, attic). I was wrong. This heater requires existing heat to work. The heater takes a warm room and uses the energy from the heat in the room to create more heat and to keep producing and reproducing heat off of the heat made from your furnace or fireplace. It didn't work in my basement, garage, or attic because those rooms don't have any heat source to begin with. The heater may have gotten them 2-3 degrees warmer over the course of 24 hours but it didn't work out for me. If you need a space heater, buy a space heater. I wish I had known before shelling out for this one. I ended up reselling. Performance This heater doesn't help areas where there is no heat. It needs to be placed in a room with heat so that it can recycle the heat and create new heat from existing heat. I thought it would help warm up rooms that didn't have a heat source but I was wrong. Ease of Use It's easy to use. I set the heat setting to what I wanted the room to be at and it did the rest. It also has a timer. Durability It seemed sturdy enough. I had no issues. Design This heater doesn't create heat. I thought it would help but it requires an existing heat source. Safety I liked that the heater didn't get hot on the front. It was safe for small kids and for my cats. I didn't have to worry about my animals singeing their fur.
