I just moved into a new home recently and the refrigerator in the home was very old so we replaced it with The Kenmore Elite Top refrigerator.It is a basic inexpensive refrigerator but worth the price and within our budget as we did not have much extra money after the house purchase. It has a lot of room inside both the refrigerator as well as the top freezer. It is a good size for a family as well. It is very quiet and you can organize the interior easily. The temperature control is within easy reach and the refrigerator stays good and cold. The design is just basic, no fancy bells or whistles but it certainly is worth the price. It is easy to clean with just a damp rag and so far seems to be durable. Kenmore has been around for years which is one of the reasons we chose this refrigerator. I have always had success with this brand as far as durability and reliability. If you are looking for a basic, hard working refrigerator, take a look at this one.

I have previously had good luck with Kenmore appliances, but this refrigerator has been a disappointment. It stopped working after several years making a clicking noise and failing to cool. The relay needed replacing and then as a result of that failing, the fan motor needed to be replaced. Of course the unit was not under warranty and although the parts were not that expensive, the cost of a service call and the spoiled food were. The stainless steel finish is impossible to keep free of smudges and is very easily scratched. Interior space is somewhat limited due to the presence of a water dispenser and ice maker (which I never hooked up). Noise Level The refrigerator is usually very quiet. Interior Organization The drawers are somewhat limited in storage space and it is difficult to access some areas. Temperature Control Temperature is usually fairly evenly maintained. Ease of Cleaning The stainless steel finish is difficult to keep clean, scratching very easily and showing every fingerprint. Durability This refrigerator is not as durable or reliable as I've come to expect from Kenmore appliances. Design This looks a bit retro with the rounded edges.

It is just the right size for my spot, keeps food cool, refrigerator is very good. I particularly like the door organization. Fruit and vegetable drawer. I have had this for several years without a problem. Noise Level Makes some noise, although you can only hear it in the kitchen

This was just what I wanted. I needed a long lasting, affordable refrigerator and Kenmore has never let us down. I am so pleased with this purchase and my busy family has put it to the test. I scored an A. Noise Level Very quiet, it sits near the entry to the great room so if it makes a slight sound and the television is down we may here it. I have had refrigerators at twice what I paid for this, that you could hear with your television volume turned up. We are very pleased with how quiet it is. Interior Organization Simple, movable shelves and door trays. Great thought was put into the interior design. I can fit my son's tall soda bottles easily, store my meats and veggies in their own compartments and have a very adjustable organized door. Temperature Control We live in the south and in the summer you need a unit that runs steady. The controls are true to settings. I worked in food service purchasing and by habit I keep a thermometer in my refrigerator. Once set, I have not needed to adjust the temp, unless we had a long power outage and I wanted it to cool quickly. Ease of Cleaning Glass shelves are the best. So easy to take out, or leave in to clean. Very sturdy acrylic clear drawers for meats and veggies. The have stayed cleared and scratch free through many a cleaning. Door area smooth and very easy to clean also. Durability It has really proven it self. Twenty four year old son and grandchild in and out of it all the time along with me as I get items to prep dinner. Ice maker is awesome and we have never run out of ice. Design I have been so pleased with this easy to use design. It is affordable yet offers features that make if feel like it cost twice as much.

We have problems with our ice machine from time to time and the fridge portion will sometimes freeze our food items if there is too much in there or if the vents are blocked. We had it serviced a few times while under warranty which would solve the problems for a while but they always seem to come back. We love the option of being able to lock the water dispenser. Noise Level it is very quiet don't hear it unless the ice machine is running. Interior Organization shelves are movable so you can customize it as much as you want and change it up to fit in everything you want. Temperature Control things in the fridge freeze from time to time, but otherwise it works great for keeping food at the correct temperature. Ease of Cleaning The shelves are easy to take in and out and they clean up easily with glass cleaner or soap and water. Durability with 2 young kids and a dog, it has stood up to the challenge. Design The refriderator comes in multiple colors and the design is pretty basic.

I love this fridge! We've had it for a few years now with absolutely no problems at all. It is compact yet very specious inside with all the room you really need. The inside drawers are very convenient for organization and they keep your fruits and veggies just the right temperature and crispness. The freezer is great. Keeps everything perfectly frozen. No problems with freezer burn or ice buildup inside which is great. This appliance is very quiet and you can't really hear anything even when everything in the house is off it is virtually silent. It is very easy to clean, just wipe it down with a wet towel. The drawers come out easily and there aren't too many nooks or crannies to worry about scrubbing clean. The fridge is very durable, I have had it several years and have never had any problems with it whatsoever. The temperature control on this appliance is great as well. Even when the power went out things were kept cool and frozen as long as you keep the door shut. It really saves you a lot of money because you have a lower risk of food spoiling during a short outage. I love the design of this fridge, and it looks great in our kitchen. So glad I chose it.Kenmore is a very reliable brand.

I gave this the highest rating, as it is an amazing product..the best I have found so far. I love everything about this product. The Kenmore Elite Top-Freezer Refrigerator is top of the line, and you get a lot of bang for your bucks! It is very spacious inside, with adjustable shelves, making it easy to fit about any size container or bottles, which is a big plus for me. It is easy to clean, just a mild soapy sponge or cloth, and it wipes clean on the inside and outside. The racks on the inside of the door are the same; spacious, and easy to clean. The outside has a clean, simple, but modern look which goes with any decor. The noise level is minimum, you hardly know it is running. Since our kitchen is the "HUB" of our home, my kids can do their homework, school projects, etc; without being distracted. The temperature control is easy to adjust, and on a normal setting, the temp is maintained and the food keeps fresh, and drinks are ice cold without wasting energy. It is a very energy efficient product, which saves you money, and everyone can relate to that!

We bought this refrigerator two years ago and have been happy with it. We have the stainless steel front. The front does not accept magnets, but the sides do. The interior shelves are easy to clean and can be moved up or down to allow customized space. The freezer door has wire shelves that pivot out so you can cram them full and stuff doesn't fall out at you when you open the door. This fridge is very quiet and runs smoothly. The only downside is that since you do not have handles, the sides of the doors get a lot of oily fingerprints on them. The stainless steel surface scratches easily as well, but this may be true for all stainless steel appliances. Also, I have discovered some rust spots on the stainless steel surface, and it is only three years old. I have never used anything harsh to clean, only mild soap and vinegar. "Stainless" is not particularly true in this case.

I really like my Kenmore Elite refrigerator. I can adjust the shelves and bins to wherever I want them to be...even in the door. One drawback is that the ice machine does take up a fair amount of space in my freezer. I also like that I was able to choose between glass and metal shelves (I opted for glass, which wash up nicely). Noise Level I don't think it is noisy at all. Interior Organization Love how it can be adjusted easily for whatever I need it to be. Temperature Control I haven't had any problems in this area. Ease of Cleaning The glass shelves wash up nicely and are easy to remove for extra cleaning. Love how the door has some moveable bins that also clean up well. Durability Everything has been stellar. Design This fridge fits nicely into my off-white kitchen. I like the options for finishes.
