Kenmore Elite Refrigerator - French Door Refrigerator with Bottom Freezer — 

Purchased my Kenmore Elite French Door Refrigerator with Bottom Freezer app. 3wks ago. After owning it 2 weeks I opened the freezer to find everything was covered in ice like the old refigerators that need defrosting and all my ice froze together. Later that day the temperature started rising in the freezer. I called customer service and after going through several recordings I talked with a gentlemen I could barely understand who told me              I COULD NOT BE FOUND IN THE SYSTEM.   Then he transfered me to someone else who said  I COULD NOT BE FOUND IN THE SYSTEM she started to transfer me on when I told her how bad the customer service was and that I had planned to buy a stove and dishwasher but it wouldn't be from sears if this is the kind of service I was going to recieve. She started taking info then and said I would be called the next day to have a appointment set for repairs. 2 days later no call. I went into the store to try for help to be told I COULD NOT BE FOUND IN THE SYSTEM. ....to make a long story short I am still battling it and still hearing I COULD NOT BE FOUND IN THE SYSTEM. I have finally got a repair date in 4 days the same day my husband has to go back to the doctor after surgery, when I told the repair man I could not guarentee we would be home due to this he rudly told me that was the day they would be here no other day was available! I called the store again to be told.......you guessed it........ I COULD NOT BE FOUND IN THE SYSTEM. Don't think my kitchen will be fully staffed with Kenmore! If they would only take care of this problem I do love the size and style of this refrigerator. I just want it to work right with little problem.

Oh my gosh! We also experienced horrific customer service one year ago when our new refrig. was delivered and it did not work. After several weeks, numerous phone calls, and much stress I swore I'd never purchase a major appliance from Sears again -- and for over 25 years I have been a loyal Sears appliance customer. I kept notes throughout the ordeal and was all set to write a letter of complaint to Sears, but didn't go thru with it. I realized they don't care about the customers anymore; they are too big to care. Especially since they now own K-Mart, too. Meanwhile, after exactly one year of loving the refrig., the freezer has been a little erratic (temp. fluctuating between 0 and 30 degrees). My husband made me call Sears Cust. Service 'cause he thinks it should be covered in 1-yr. warranty. So I reluctantly made the call. I tried to remain calm, but ended up hanging up on the supervisor. Apparently, after your 1-year warranty is up, they cannot even answer a simple question for you. This brought back all the bad memories of one year ago. I told my husband he can deal with them. I'll call a local repairman, I don't care what it costs!

I went through the same thing and also couldn't be found in the system. I thought for almost $3000, I'd have a refrigerator that worked. I had them remove the refrigerator and now can't get my money back. Now they don't have any record of the refrigerator being picked up.

Wholly crap! That picture of your frozen stuff is b-a-d!!! What terrible service!
