In searching for a microwave that would fit the needs of my family, we went shopping at a nearby Sears to see what they had available. review »The Kenmore Elite microwave/convection oven was a replacement for an old microwave that broke down. Unfortunately, we bought it on impulse without doing proper research (and I never do that!) It is completely adequate and gets the job done, however it just doesn't seem to heat things up as well (as fast) as my old microwave, even though this one has more wattage.
I had never used a convection oven before, so I had no idea what to expect with that, I have used it to make a pizza, and it does brown the crust, but the cheese does not get real "melty." The convection is not any faster than a regular...
