The first time the repairman cam out and told me it wasn't cleaning the dishes because there were chicken bones, I thought no way... and then told my family to be careful. The second time he came and told me there were chicken bones in the drain, it looked very suspiciously like the same string of bones....

My daughter first bought this Kenmore Elite dishwasher and when she was so impressed, I bought the same one. It is daunting to look at hundreds of dishwashers and not know which is best. This Turbo wash feature even cleans dried on rice, left for days. I love the stainless steel tub also.
I really like my Kenmore Elite dishwasher. I can't recommend it enough. It's stainless stell front is even nice to look at.
It was purchased as a replacement for a GE dishwasher that was installed by our builder. The old dishwasher failed and flooded our kitchen last summer. Our old dishwasher, like every other GE product we've ever purchased, didn't really work correctly.

We have had our Sears Kenmore Elit dishwasher for a little over 1 year---it was bought last year. I had to call for service twice already because of problems with it. The last time the serviceman came out, the dishwasher just stopped working and a green light on the door keeps flashing. He diagnosed that the main pump went out. He had to order a new one with entire housing assembly and it will take anywhere between 3 to 7 days. Meanwhile we're expected to wash our dishes by hand. Why have a dishwasher?
