Had it for six years and needed to repair it frequently. Replaced the motor, pump and heating coil. The final blow came when it developed a leak and ruined my floor.

Can't ask for anything more?

I would say that this dishwasher has more than enough wash cycle and option that other dishwashers don't offer. Noise Level It is on the quiet side. Enough so, that it doesn't distract us. Cleaning Time I really don't pay attention to how long a cleaning cycle is. What I do pay attention to is, I don't have to do them by hand. Loading Flexibility This dishwasher has two racks and while I am a example of getting one more dish in, I question that even I could get the fourteen place setting in that they say will fit. It does have the two spray arms and the dishes get cleaned from two sides. Performance It is energy efficient and I read that I would save even more energy if I turned off the drying cycle. I haven't decided yet. My husband says he can't tell any difference but I see spots. Design I never have a small load so the fact that it doesn't have a small load does not bother me however a single friend was wanting a new dishwasher and when I told her about mine she checked into it and discovered that they don't have a small cleaning cycle. Personally, I rinse my dishes and would just wait until I had the size load I wanted. Durability Made to be energy efficient and cost less to operate.

Very good dishwasher

I purchased the Kenmore Elite dishwasher about a year ago when we were redoing our kitchen. Overall I love this dishwasher. It has plenty of room for tons of dishes, cleans and dries the dishes well, and is not as loud as our old dishwasher. I used to have to "pre-wash" all of my dishes, but with this dishwasher I have just rinsed the dishes quickly before putting them in the dishwasher and have no problems with the dishes being cleaned - even if I don't run the dishwasher right away! The one downfall that I found was that the cleaning cycle seemed to take a very long time. I have subsequently started using the "one hour" cycle and it is faster and still cleans the dishes just as well. Overall I am very happy with this dishwasher! Noise Level This dishwasher is relatively quiet, especially compared to my old one. Cleaning Time Cleaning time seemed long. I have started using the one hour cycle that is shorter and cleans the dishes very well.

Decent, Not Great.

Overall, it is a good dishwasher. For the price, should be better. My husband and I bought this dishwasher with our first home - we have since moved. We had it for around 3.5 years and had no major troubles with it, and it was still under warranty actually when we sold our house. I loved the stainless steel exterior and I think it was sleek, quiet, and looked really nice in our kitchen. The inside was roomy and fit lots of big dishes, pans, etc. It had nice rack spaces on top for wine glasses, and I LOVED the removable silverware holders. My biggest complaint was that the dishes just didn't get super clean. It had an option for cleaning the "turbo zone" or something like that - where special jets are supposed to come on to clean the dirtiest of dirty pots/pans/casserole dishes...I just don't think that could ever happen with this machine. Honestly, even when I pre-rinsed dishes that had food caked-on, they came out dirty many times. Overall - I liked it. Would I buy it again? Probably not. For the price, this dishwasher should probably have been washing my dishes, folding my laundry and dusting my furniture all at the same time. It struggled just to wash the dishes. Next time, I will probably opt for a more inexpensive version that will probably clean just as well. Cleaning Time The wash time for a 'normal' energy saver wash was around 90 minutes. That seems like a very, very long time to me.

Like the loading flexibility. Allows large and small items to be arranged to allow for more dishes to be placed in dishwasher. Is fairly quiet, so as not to interfere with other things that are happening in the kitchen.

Gets the job done, but has it's flaws

3

We've had this dishwasher for a couple of years now, and overall I am satisfied with it. However, it is not without it's flaws. Sometimes the detergent pod will not fully dissolve and I think its because the little detergent door doesn't open at the right time. Also the sanitize button is starting to crack, which is weird because it's not like I press that button a lot, so I feel like it's not from normal wear and tear. I also don't like the water pooling up on all the glasses and whatnot, the entire cycle is so long that I wish they would dry better. But given all these flaws, it still gets the job done, my dishes normally turn out clean with minimal prior rinsing. But given the choice again, would I buy this one? Maybe not. Cleaning Time takes a long time

Family Dishwasher

Wasn't as pleased as I expected to b, my dishes don't fit very good and It's noisier than I originally wanted. I don't have a water softener, so I have serious hard water spots but that is not necessarily because of the dishwasher. I am not completely satisfied with the washing and drying option as well

Great dishwasher

4

We bought this dishwasher because we wanted adjusted tines on the racks and were hopeful the turbo zone jets would clean food from our dirtiest pans. We've been disappointed with the jets - I can't think of a time they've gotten a really dirty pan clean. But other than that, we've liked the dishwasher. It's very quiet and the stainless steel interior stays very clean. I have trouble sometimes with the bottom rack sliding out of place and making a loud noise as it falls out of place. The racks hold a lot but we can't fit a glass on either side of the top shelf next to the levers that adjust the racks up and down. That can be frustrating when you have a lot of dishes to load. We love the removable silverware tray - we take the whole thing out to unload. The adjustable tines allow various ways of loading the bottom rack which helps when we have large pans or bowls to load. I can put 9X13 pans along the side and they usually get clean. I'd recommend this dishwasher.
