First of all let me say that this is the coolest looking toaster that I have seen, much less owned, in my life. It looks very modern, professional grade. Of course, looks aren't everything, once you get it home it has to work good, not just sit on the counter looking pretty. This one does for sure work perfectly for about anything you can fit in it. Toasting Evenness It is so nice to finally have a good toaster. I was so tired of having to toast something, then pull it out and turn it around so that it would be toasted the same on both sides. Except then your bread is too crunchy and doesn't have the right texture. Or you turn up the temperature and then you get half burned, half undone toast. Thankfully Kenmore created this awesome to look at and even better to use toaster. Perfectly browned toast is the norm now, not just a dream. Ease of Cleaning Honestly, how often does anyone clean the toaster? Sure, I wipe it down when I wipe off the counters but that is about it. This actually has the crumb trap which is awesome because my last one didn't and I had a mountain of crumbs under it, yuck! It is stainless though, so don't use anything harsh or overly wet and you should be just fine. Durability We use our toaster all the time, from plain old toast to pop-tarts and bagels and this one does it all. I hope that it lives up to the Kenmore standards and lasts a long time. Design The design on this one is gorgeous. The slots are wide enough you don't have to squish and cram in your bagels and deep enough that your bakery or homemade bread actually fit and you don't have to toast the bottom, then retoast the top. Beautiful, functional, Kenmore at its finest.

I found this toaster to be of very good quality and great looking to boot! My husband loves bagels. But, most toasters--even those with wide openings--don't toast these well. This one does. It has multiple settings, which is great since he likes his (everything) dark brown and I lean toward the lighter side. One of the coolest features is the LED display. Sure, it doesn't really add to the quality of the toaster, but it's just...cool. Everything about it is great looking. It's sleek, but can easily fit four slices of bread. It's stainless, so it goes with everything. Toasting Evenness I have yet to find anything I wish to toast that this toaster doesn't toast well. It toasts evenly and thoroughly. Safety The toast rises fully so there is no reason to have to dig into it. If so, it's just like any other toaster. Unplug it first. Ease of Cleaning I thought I might have a bit of trouble keeping this clean since it is stainless, but no. It just wipes up easily with a damp cloth. I haven't had any trouble with crumbs falling onto the counter either. The crumb tray is removable as well. Very cool. Durability I've had mine for over a year and it's still working well. Design Love the design! Did I say it was pretty? Oh yeah. It's sleek and fits well into any corner of the kitchen since it isn't long like most four slice toasters.

I purchased the Kenmore Elite 4-Slice Auto-Lift Long Slot Toaster to accommodate pan size bread. This toaster was a little on the pricey side, but it's extremely accurate at browning bread and doesn't take up a lot of space. The side enclosures for this toaster does a great job of keeping my bread and pastries in place when in operation. Most importantly this toaster does a great job of browning bread evenly to my liking. It only takes about 45 seconds to lightly brown my bread and it never has any soft uncooked spots. I also have used this toaster to defrost breakfast burritos and it performed well above my expectations. After defrosting my burrito it wasn't soggy or partially cooked. It was thoroughly cooked throughout and maintained enough moisture to prevent it from being rubbery. I would definitely recommend the Kenmore Elite 4-Slice Auto-Lift Long Slot because it's accurate, compact, and durable.

The Kenmore Elite Four Slice Toaster has been a great addition to my kitchen. This toaster is basic enough to understand that even the most appliance challenged will figure out, but also has several advanced features. This toaster has the ability to toast up to four slices of bread at a time. The slots have been elongated a little to allow you to toaster larger and odd sized bread as well. This model has features that allow you to adjust the darkness of the toast as well as the type of bread (i.e. bagels). Clean up is very easy. All the components that need to be cleaned are easily removable, and simple to re-install. I have been using this toaster for several months now and it has been a reliable asset to my morning routine. I honestly could not recommend a better toaster than this. Toasting Evenness The settings are pretty accurate. I have yet to over due it on toasting my toast. Ease of Cleaning Super easy to clean. All the components are easily removed and installed for cleaning ease.

Finally, a toaster that fits my crazy hippie bread! I love my Kenmore Elite 4-Slice Auto-Lift long Slot Toaster. The stainless steel finish looks fantastic in my kitchen, so modern. The ability to toast 4 slices at one time is perfect for my family of four and great when we host friend for brinner (breakfast for dinner). It toasts bread evenly and has very accurate measure for adjusting my toast just the way I like it. I only wish I could toast bread simultaneously on different settings...wishing for magic I guess. The outside does get fingerprints easily but wipes down quickly. As with all toasters I have ever owned, I still haven't found an easy way to clean out the inside other than dumping it upside down and shaking out crumbs. However, if I don't do this every single time, then crumbs get lost and burned to the edges. I love the length and width of the slots as well as the settings. So easy to use.

We were in need of a new toaster so we recently bought the Kenmore Elite 4 slice Auto-lift long Slot Toaster in Stainless Steel. Quite impressed! Its a great toaster, especially for families of four or more when you want to toast a couple of pieces of bread, english muffins, or bagels at the same. Easy levels for different toasting options. The bread pops up fine and easily and at a good level to pull it out without effort. Pretty simple, easy and to the point to use like any other toaster. We expect it to last awhile since its Kenmore and they have great quality products. Toasting Evenness Great for this. This is one of the reasons we bought a new one since our old one only toasted on one side. Safety Great for safety. Just be careful with the heat as with all toasters. Ease of Cleaning Simple, quick and easy to clean. Its practical. Durability Kenmore has great durability so we expect no less with this toaster. Design Nice modern, classy design.

I saw this toaster and it caught my eye because of its outer space shape. I was looking for a four slicer so my new toaster and I went home. Then I read the reviews and thought wonderful, do I take it back now or later. I decided to give it a try and much to my delight - we love this toaster. Toasting Evenness It toasts everything evenly and the warming feature is great, It has two long slots so you can toast two slice of thick whole grain bread crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. It has a "cool peek " feature so look and see if the bread id done. It is the only toaster that I have ever found that would cook my home-maid whole grain bread crisp and browned to perfection. Safety I don't know what safety feature one would find in a toaster so guess I would say don't be stupid and put a fork or knife down in the toaster to lift bread. this toaster has a cool peek feature to use instead. Ease of Cleaning I admit it, I hate cleaning a toaster but this one is not so bad. I think the difference is the wide slots and after the toaster cools down. I turn it upside down and shake gently getting rid of the excess crumbs. Durability Haven't had it long enough to give this one a rating but I did see that it has a five year warranty instead of the typical ninety day or standard one year. Design Space age toaster is fun looking and does a great job toasting. good choice.

I'm a huge breakfast food fan and so is my family so we tend to go through a lot of toast. The problem is there are three of us and its sort of a pain to just cook two slices at a time when everyone wants multiple pieces. I was a little skeptical about the Kenmore Elite 4-Slice Auto-Lift Long Slot Toaster in stainless steel but thought it might be worth a shot to try and I ended up loving it. The slots are really long so you can easily fit two average sized slices in each side and it works so good. Toasting Evenness Once I figured out the settings and dialed them into my preferences, my toast cooked very evenly every time. Ease of Cleaning It's mildly troublesome to remove the little crumb catching tray but honestly, it's on par with any other toaster I've ever had to clean so it's not all bad. Design I really love the extra long slots in this toaster and the little digital display. It looks so cute and high tech. I'm transitioning from red to chrome and silver in my kitchen so this matches all my new appliances great and looks very sleek and classy.

Overall, I love my toaster. I can toast a single slice of bread, half a bagel, or up to four pieces of each without any issues. The machine has an easy setting dial for being able to choose your desired level of toasted and it seems to work rather quickly. The only thing I do not like about this toaster is that it doesn't have a catch tray at the bottom that I can remove. My old toaster had a tray that caught any butter or crumbs and could just be pulled out of the toaster and emptied and cleaned. This one doesn't have that but you can clean it, just not as easily. Toasting Evenness I've never had any issues with toasting evenness with this toaster. The toaster does seem to take a while to toast bagels, however, it toasts evenly regardless of how many slices of toast or bagel portions I put in it. Safety I haven't had any safety concerns. One thing about safety though, it is harder to clean than my old toaster so it makes it more dangerous. Ease of Cleaning It's okay to clean the outside but the inside doesn't open or have a tray. It's not as easy to clean as it should be. It really needs a removable tray on the bottom. Durability It has held up to the test of nearly everyday use so far. Design The cleaning is difficult on this and it needs an improved design to make it easier to take apart and clean.

Let me start this review by saying the only reason that I gave the Kenmore long slot four slice toaster a nine out of ten instead of a ten out of ten was because the only color that I found it available in was this color, aka stainless steel. Which means it doesn't match the rest of my kitchen. Which is not really a huge deal. Now that that is out of the way. I make a lot of toast. And it got a little annoying having to make breakfast and make toast for more than one person when I could only make two pieces at a time. Unfortunately I don't have a whole lot of counter space. That's where this came in. I was pleasantly surprised when I found this toaster that wasn't four side by side slots and was instead two longer slots. It saved space and solved my toast making problem. It also toasts all four pieces of bread evenly. Which I was afraid might not be the case. Bit it surprised me. The design is sleek and simple. The whole toaster is easy to clean and it was fairly priced. I love that I am able to make more toast at a time and still not use a lot of my precious counter space. It was a purchase well made.
