I recently purchased the Kenmore Elite 2.0 Microwave for several of its neat features. Having researched for a reasonably priced large capacity micro for large casserole dishes, ease of use, and the ability to be built-in with the optional trim kit, this oven seemed our best buy. I also wanted...

This has easy buttons that allow the kids (even my 4 year old) to make popcorn at the touch of a button. It does not take up half the space as my old one does.

I had a Kenmore Microwave for 5 years. It is now garbage.
In the first year the plastic turntable broke. It cost $20 to replace.
Recently an additional the same part broke and the plastic started became dirty
I than dropped the glass plate which is my fault but it cost over $40 to replace
I could not get it cleaned. It started pealing off. I thought I could replace it so I pealed it off completely.
Finally I purchased a new microwave from Lowes.
The motor and everything else is fine. I will not purchase another Kenmore. It seemed like planned obsolescence.
