The Taylor household likes to use an appliance until it dies. Our twenty-five year old Kenmore dryer has been dying for a couple of years and in January, it seemed to be ready to go to the appliance junkyard in the sky. So we bought another Kenmore dryer from Sears. The old dryer took longer to dry clothes, and it made ungodly noises which made me wonder if it was possessed. The new dryer dries clothes quicker, and it is noise-free. The knobs are different, but it is easy to learn. The only complaint is the door is hard to open probably because of its newness. well, my Sears dryer is two years old and I have had problems for a month. First it made rust marks on my white clothes. The first guy did not fix it. I had to buy the extended warranty to make it cost effective for me. The second guy replaced the problem, but then broke something else so that it does not work. How do I know this? Because the THIRD guy to come out told me. And guess what? After one cycle it is doing the same thing. So here I am, at ten at night being told by the service center sorry but they can't help me.
