We just moved into a house that has this dishwasher and I absolutely LOVE it! There are times I have to rewash the dishes, but I think that's mostly operator error. Noise Level This dishwasher is much quieter than it could be, I suppose. The dishwasher I had in another house was louder than this one. It's noticeable when it is running but not so much the T.V. in the living room needs to be turned way up to drown out the sound. Cleaning Time For as clean as my dishes come out on the longest running cycle, it's not that long. The dishwasher probably gets the dishes done in as much / little time as it would take me to hand wash all of them. Loading Flexibility Loading could be a little easier. It's the basic "this dish fits here so move all of the other dishes to fit around it" type of dishwasher. Performance I don't usually have to run the dishes through more than once. There have been occasions, but that was mostly my fault I do believe. It gets some pretty tough food spots off of the dishes. Design This is the typical / standard built in dishwasher design. Nothing that makes it stand out amongst other dishwashers. Durability I have loaded some pretty heavy items in the trays and it holds up nicely. Absolutely wonderful!

This dishwasher came with our house, and matches our appliances. I have been very pleased with it. So far, we have only used the light wash setting, and the normal setting. There have only been a few times when the dishes didn't come out really clean and nice. The machine was either very over-loaded, or we were lazy about rinsing the dishes to begin with. It is definitely softer sounding than a lot of dishwashers I've either heard, or owned myself in the past. Since it is a Kenmore, we feel assured of quaility, and know that we'll be able to quickly and easily get parts and service if we should ever need them. In fact, when the time comes to replace this dishwasher, we will not hesitate to buy another one, because that's how much we like it. I don't know about pricing, because like I said, it came with our house, but I can only imagine that because it's a Kenmore, it would be competatively priced.

We purchased this dishwasher after we did a complete kitchen remodel. The washer now sits on the left hand side of the sink versus the right hand side where it sat previously. We purchased Kenmore because of the good reputation, price and to match the oven and microwave, which are also all Kenmore. It has all the basic functions, and some advanced like a wash for pots and pans, quick rinse, water wash, and the delayed wash of two, four, or six hours. In all honesty, we actually have not used the advanced washes or the delayed washes very often. The simple, basic wash does a great job. We have filled it full of plates, cups, pots and pans and it washes everything clean. We have used different types of dish washing detergent as well, liquid, powder and even those little cubes, and it works great every single time. It is not as quiet as I thought it would be, but it is not too loud either. Works well and gets the job done.

This Kenmore dishwasher cleans very well and is very quiet.  The reason I gave it four stars is because on occassion I have had to re-wash dishes.  Granted I didn't wash them well before putting them in, but Kenmore says that you don't have to.  It has only happened a few times thankfully.
