I have had this dishwasher for about 7 years and for about half of this time it constantly malfunctioned. The dishwasher washes very well, cleaning the glassware, flatware and all the dishes with no problems. It gets off (almost) all the dirt, food, grease and grime. It even has a special turbo zone for that really hard stuck on food. The turbo zone area has a rack that folds down for extra space for the bigger items as well. The problems come in when the wash motor and the control panel start to malfunction. The control panel would not turn the dishwasher on or use certain settings sometimes. The wash motor would burn out too easily. Each piece started to break individually and getting them fixed with and without a warranty was costing too much. They continued to break after getting fixed multiple times and after so many times it was not worth replacing again. Overall this dishwasher is not a good investment in the long run because it requires putting money into it constantly.

This Kenmore model of dishwaher simply does not do an effective job of cleaning dishes, glasses or flatware. I have tried all the various settings and water temps on this model. There appears to be no solution to a successful cleaning performance. I cannot recommend this product and I am extremely disappointed with it. Noise Level This model of Kenmore dishwasher is very load, despite its misleading model name of "Quiet Guard Delux." Cleaning Time Cleaning time is acceptable. Loading Flexibility Has acceptable loading capacity. Performance Virtually unacceptable cleaning performance. Incapable of cleaning the most routine dirt around drinking glass rims or normal dirt on flatware. Design Obviously not designed will enought to do adequate cleaning. Durability After one year, it's still running, despite its inability to clean.

We had a Ge dishwasher that never clean right for about a yr. So i decide to pay a little more for a kenmore and boy was it worth it. I've had it for 5 months now. LOVE IT!!!! Dishes come out clean no build up yet in it and we have hard water!!!!!

This Kenmore stainless dishwasher came with my house when I bought it.  While it looks great, the cleaning ability is just okay.  My cups constantly come out with grime in the bottom from minisucle food particles.  I have taken the dishwasher completely apart and cleaned everything out and it still happens.  Other than that, I like the quietness of the machine and how much stuff I can fit into it.

This is a great dishwasher.  We have lived in our home two years and Kenmore's stainless inside and out dishwasher has been the best one we have ever owned.  We pick this with the turbo zone washing because I sometimes over fill the dishwasher.  But I can tell you it does the job.  I love the silverware tray.  It has slots to put knives blade side down and it won't touch the dish drawers and cut them.  We had that problem before...and it ends up rusting your dish baskets...which to me ..ruins the dishwasher.  I love that I control everything on it from how hard the wash to how hot...too!  I have used both powders and the gel and dry tabs in it.  I think the tabs work best ...but that is my opinion.  But I do use the powder now and then.  The dish drawers also adjust with is great when you have something bigger to put in.  I just move it up or down depending if it is going in the top or bottom.  I am looking forward to having this diswasher for a long time!

My old disk wasn't working so I got a new it was like this except it was black it works great I don't have any problems of it not working it isn't as noisy as my other dishwasher. It is easy to work and won't have any problems of it not working. The buttons are easy to work. It get my dishes really clean. I really like Kenmore they work better than any other company I've had before because they last longer than any other applications have had. I don't have any problems of the Kenmore not lasting. You love this dishwasher and won't have problems with it. I like the turbo jet in it gets my dishes cleaning than any other of my dishwashers. The dishwasher soap is it uses makes my dishes cleaner. I don't have any problems with this dishwasher. This dishwasher will make it fun to wash dishes and you won't have any problems with it like you do with other dishwashers. I don't like any other dishwasher other then Kenmore now. Because all the other dishwasher I've had didn't last long.   Cinder006

This Kenmore 13743 dishwasher is well worth the price!  We did pay a little more then what we intended however it does far more then any dishwasher we've ever had.  Not only does it remove, clean and sanitize dirty, baked on dishes it has a water saver option too.  We are very pleased with our purchase and when we move into our new house we will take out Kenmore with us.

We have purchased the Kenmore quiet wash dishwasher.   This dishwasher replaces another Kenmore dishwasher which we had for about 20 years.   These are just great dishwashers for teh price and duriability.   I love the new one for it is much more quite that the last.  That probably comes with the advancements in technology.   I also love the way it cleans.  It has a nice silverware basket which holds more than enough and the jets for the washer seem to get even the dirtiest dishes clean.  I do not pre-wash my dishes, I just stick them in and they come out nice and clean and shiny.   I sometimes choose to not use the heat dry button, but just let them sit in the dishwasher to dry on there own for a while.    This seems to work pretty well for the hot steam does the trick.   I love the look of the dishwasher also, I have chosed the stainless steel model.  It also has many choices on how you want to wash your dishes, many cycles.  This is a great buy. I would recommend this dishwasher to anyone.

you don't have to rinse the dish off before you use this kenmore and I have had it about 5 yrs. and still runs and works like I just got it to day.  It is wonderful and would suggest that everyone owns one

My revue is for my Kenmore 24 inch built in dishwasher.  First I would like to say I was one of those people that never wanted a dishwasher.  I always said I could have the dishes washed by the time I loaded a dishwasher.  Boy, was I wrong.  I purchased my dishwasher about 7 years ago when we moved into a new house.  My daughters had been after me to buy one for years.  Once I learned how to load the dishwaher correctly I was amazed at how fast you could do it.  The other great thing is that there are no more dirty dishes laying around in the sink.  My dished come out sparkling clean and almost dry.  This Kenmore dishwasher runs very quietly and does not disturb us at all even when we are watching tv.  My Kenmore has saved me so much time that I can now use on things I enjoy.  On holidays, you can load up the dishwasher and relax with the rest of your family.  I recommend this dishwasher to all harried housewives out there.
