Kenmore 790.78889900 Review

Bought a Sears Kenmore Gas Convection oven and love it.  We needed to replace the stove that the builders supplied when we built the house 19 years ago.  We wanted a relative nice one, but didn't need all the bells and whistles.

Went to all the electronics, home/hardware stores, etc.  Walked into Sears and had already decided we didn't want or need a convection oven.  Talked with the salesman about what we wanted.  He showed us several models & asked us about a convection model.  My wife & I told him we weren't that familiar with that type, but didn't think we needed it.  He went through a pros and cons of convection & sold us on it.

When asked why we should buy Kenmore over all the other brands, he explained we would get more features and a better quality unit that is less expensive than other major brands.  He was right.  We couldn't find another convection oven within $200-300 of the model we liked at Sears.

Here is another reason we bought it.  We asked if he worked on commission & he said he did.  I wanted to make sure that we came back when he was working and bought it from him so he got the commission.  He told us, "Don't worry about that.  Just make sure you come back so that Sears gets your business".  Obviously, HE got our business.

We aren't just pleased with the product, but really liked the salesrep's company loyalty.  Kind of says something for the company.  If anyone from the Baybrook Sears in Houston, TX reads this.  Give Eric a raise.
