Outstanding!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

This purchase was made while the central air conditioning system was replaced in the middle of a record setting Florida summer.  I was utterly amazed at the efficiency of this air conditioner.  With the assistance of a few well placed fans, this unit actually cooled about 900 square feet of space!  While the temps outside (with heat index) exceeded 100 degrees, this unit kept the inside at a cool and steady 78 degrees.  I was surprised at its efficiency as it claims to cool a far less sized area.  This unit is very quiet overall.  However, the front cover rattles somewhat as it does not snap completely flush against the front.  I used some blue painters' ta...

The Kenmore Air Conditioner is TOTALLY COOL.

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I currently still have a window air conditioning unit in my home.   Unfortunately just recently my unit blew up, it was a very old unit but it worked wonderfully.  I was very hesitant about buying a new unit because I was afraid it would not cool as good as the old one.  I am about 7 months pregnant and keeping cool in July was very important to me.  However, we purchased a Kenmore unit and installed it, and it is more than I could have imagined.  It is all digital, it has a remote ( which my husband loves) and it works a lot better than the old unit, and maybe it is just me but I also think my electric bill benefited from this new unit as well.  I would recommend this brand to anyone.

Best Window A/C Ever

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

This is the best window A/C I have ever owned. It has an energy saving mode that allows the unit to run intermitently to test the room temp. Then it turns on if needed and off if not needed. Also has a sleep timer that turns the unit off after a few hours if you desire. I have a 2-story, 2300sq.ft. house. The A/C is installed upstairs (about 900sq.ft.) to help cool 4 bedrooms and a bath. It works wonderful. We used it all last summer and fall and it helped reduce our electric bill. It is not super quiet but it is tolerable. Lots of power and gets the room cool fast. I recommend this unit to everyone. Definitely worth the price.

Kenmore Air Conditioner gets it cold like I like it.

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

My Kenmore air conditioner works great and gets my room freezing cold just like I love it. It makes it so much easier for me to sleep when it is freezing cold because I can just bundle up under my cover which is how I have always slept the best. Even though the rest of the house is warm enough for everyone else, because not everyone else likes it cold like me, I can keep it the temperature I want in my room, which is always much colder than anyone else can stand it. This air conditioner is quiet and it blows out instand cold air when you need it. It has energy saving mode and different settings you can put it on. You can just turn the fan on or you can have it on cool so it will blow out cold air. If you want to be cool during the summer then this is a great air conditioner to get.

I honestly feel that if your looking for any air conditioners just go to any local store and just look for the kenmore brand there is no doubt in my mind that its guarenteed to work.

Kenmore 75121 Air Condition is okay

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

That said, I still struggle sleeping with it. I should say that I'm an extremely light sleeper and really need/want absolute silence. Unfortunately, I go to bed earlier than the rest of my family and I would hear just enough talking/TV/general activity to keep me from getting that sleep. When traveling, if I can get the hotel's fan to stay on at a constant speed, it will mask other noises and I will sleep well enough. I was looking to repeat that experience at home. This unit does mask the noises, but (for me) there is something I find a little annoying about the sound regardless of pitch. The only way I can describe it is that the hotel's fan is sort of a big sound where the noise that come...

Kenmore is a tried and true product

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I have owned my Kenmore air conditioner for well over six year, and have used it everyday as I like it cold when I sleep. I bought a kenmore on word of mouth (a customer in the store) and have not regretted it. First and formost its an energy star which I love. Some of the features are; you can run it on cool, energy saver, or just the fan. There are three different fan speeds, has a timer, and the best thing is you can set the temprature to your liking. Its not a loud running air conditioner like most units, and it has a washable filter that is easy to remove and put back. If you keep it clean it will last you a long time. I have not had any problems with cooling up to three rooms. The only draw back is it didn't have drain holes for the water, I had to drill a few myself and its heavy. But other than those two things I love my Kenmore and would recommend this product to anyone.

Installation is awful!!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

So it's a great window A/C; let me begin by saying that:  powerful, efficient.  But installation was ridiculously frustrating.  The instructions are just plain bad:  confusing, pictures not aligned to text, missing key directions (such as screwing in the side curtains, which can't be done once the unit is in the window).

Also, we ended up installing it with NONE of the parts.  Why?  Because...

The holes on the underside of the cabinet are too small for the screws to install the sill supports.  So that didn't get done.

The holes on the side of the cabinet are too small for the screws to install the side curtains.  Hello, duct tape.

The cabinet d...

It's cool

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

When it comes to appliances go to sears ! What can I say abou the Kenmore 75121 Thru-wall/ window air conditioner. I am really very pleased with my purchase.

As it was stated before It is a 12,000 BTU remote controlled unit, remote controlled items always makes life easier. It was easy enough to install and get it started.  As I imagiine any window AC would be.

The AC itself has 3 modes on it, you can choose from cool, energy saver, or fan setting. The cool mode has low, medium, and high settings. I like that fact that the energy saver option helps keep the room pleasant as I dislike when the room gets too cool and you have keep turning off the AC unit.

I would recommend this AC to anyone who likes a good AC window unit. It will keep your room nice and cool and helps save energy at the same time. And who couldn't use an energy saving device these days when the energy bills keeps getting higher and higher.

I love my Kenmore Window Air Conditioner

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I own the Kenmore Window Air Conditioner model 75121  I researched and shopped for 2 months for a window air conditioner, as I am renting my unit and want the air conditioner to be movable if I need to leave.  My unit has 2 rooms that I want to be cooled, (living room and bedroom), focussed mainly on cooling the bedroom for nighttime use.  The air conditioner is 12,000 BTUs and is quite powerful and cools, circulates, and moves the air very efficiently.

Pros

-chills air quickly -remote control allows for fan to continue circulating the air, or an energy saver mode that operates every 2 minutes to check the current temperature.  -immediately ad...

My Kenmore air conditioner is #1 in Quality

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I own the Kenmore 75121 Thru-wall/ window air conditioner. This is about the best window unit i have ever owned. I am really very satisfied with it.

It is a 12,000 BTU remote controlled unit (which i do love the remote control part of it!!) The installation of the unit seemed to not be very much of a problem. I would say it looked fairly easy. If you noticed i said looked. lol  As i did not install it, i watched my husband do it, and of course he made it look easy. Hooray for husbands!!

The air conditioner has 3 modes on it, you can choose from cool, energy saver, or fan setting. The cool mode has low, medium, and high settings. The energy saver mode shuts down the fan and com...

I like it, it keeps my whole house cool and comfortable.

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I am reviewing the Kenmore 580.75121501 Air Conditioner. **I enjoy having it because it works really well, and keeps my house feeling very comfortably. It is a little expensive, but it's quiet and the temperature it says is the corect temperature throughout the house. I live in a very small house however, so that may be the reason it worked so well for me.**

I consider the Kenmore 580.75121501 Air Conditioner is the best.

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I really enjoy the Kenmore Air Conditioner.  One of the Main reasons I like this air conditioner over other leading brands is its start up time.  From the time I turn it on I have instant cold refreshing air.  The sleek look of the Air conditioner is great and it is very quiet, and it looks like it is new and expensive.  With this air conditioner I never have to worry about mantianence or repair.  After buying this Kenmore Air Conditioner I will never switch to another brand.

Works well, but not as well as it should.

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

Yes, the Kenmore 58-.75121501 Air Conditioner is OK. It works fine but just not as well as a norm air conditioner should which means, beyond. I`ve been shopping for alot of air conditioners in the past 17 months to see which one works the best, and I am quite disappointed in this one, actually I am very disappointed. All I have to say really is dont buy it and Kenmore, come on you can do better then that. :(

Quietest air conditioner around

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

This is the greatest air conditioner that I have found.  It is 12,200 BTU's and yet is very quiet. It cools down the area without any problem even though the 2nd room is partially blocked.  The thermostat also works great.  I bought two of these air conditioners.  The 2nd air conditioner was put into a bedroom and with the use of a fan, it cools the whole upstairs.
