We bought this Kenmore 700 dryer to match our Kenmore 700 washer.  We've been delighted with our purchase.  After dealing with an old dryer that took forever to dry even the smallest loads, it was a welcome change to have our clothes come out perfect in next to no time at all!

The Kenmore 700 has a great Wrinkle Guard feature that continues to periodically cycle the clothes for up to 90 minutes past end of cycle.  So if you are busy with the kids or preparing dinner you don't have to make a mad dash to the dryer to get the clothes out the minute the buzzer sounds.

Another feature that we love is the light inside the dryer!  I can't tell you how much easier this makes it to find that "lost sock" or other garment that tries to hide in there.  It's a small thing, but man it sure does come in handy.

Overall, we are loving our new washer and dryer set.  We highly recommend this dryer (and the matching washer) for any household that wants to have their clothes come out ready to wear without all the fuss.

Most Kenmore appliances are actually manufactured by Whirlpool. Whirlpool is obviously another strong brand, it's just that the pricing on Kenmore's is more favorable. But, with your discount, you might do very well with a Whirlpool.

Thanks for the tip! I will definitely watch what they do when they come to do the yearly preventative maintenance!

And i just spent 28 bucks repairing my old Amana. Electric dryers are pretty simple and your old one may have just needed a good cleaning or new element. You might want to take the bottom front panel off every year to clean any lint there....or watch the Sears tech do it for ya.

That sounds good. THe trouble is I just realized we can't get kenmore. My husband works at Best Buy and Kenmore is only at Sears right? We get pretty good discounts on appliances so I think we'll have to find another brand :(

Growing up we had Kenmore, and now in our house we stick with Kenmore. It's a very high quality, dependable product backed by a good company. I'm not saying we never have breakdowns, but when we do Sears has always come through for us in making in right.

Nice features. I hate our dryer, but I'm holding out on getting a new one til it actually breaks. Kenmore sounds like a great brand.
