Problematic Over Time

4

This is a basic washer and it worked fine for me at first. I did need to have my washer serviced because a sock managed to get into the main container and the washer stopped and I don't think that should be possible. Over time the mechanism to add fabric softener became gummed up and I can't use it anymore. Also there is a bleach cup that does not work now or maybe never worked because if I put bleach in the cup, it just pours right into all the clothes rather than later in the cycle. I encountered another problem that I think may be a result of problematic electricity in my house---I'm not sure. The washer does not always spin. I have called service once and they could not help. It runs through all the rest of the wash ok, but sometimes it spins and sometimes it doesn't. I've tried washing just a few items and I may or may not have the spinning problem and I've investigated the latch and there seems to be no issue with that. Energy Efficiency I think this washer is average. Cleaning Time In my opinion, it takes too long to wash a load---about 50 minutes on average. Performance I'm unhappy with the intermittent spinning problem.

Kenmore 70 series top load washer gets the job done

3

I wouldn't say that I love the washing machine, but it certainly gets the job done. I inherited it when I bought my house and it already had a problem that needed fixing. The piece on the lid that presses down and tells the washer the lid's closed was not properly pressing into the piece in the washer. I don't know what exactly was broken, but it was not an easy fix. I had my cousin bring his tools and he had to take most of the washer apart to put a new piece that presses down. Once he got that taken care of, though, the washer worked just fine. I've been having trouble getting the gunk from many previous washes out of it, so there are some sticky parts around the top of the washer. It always cleans the clothes properly. I've even forgotten about clothes for a few days in it and never had any problems with smell or mildew, so it seems to do a pretty good job of airing out the clothes in spite of my forgetfulness. Clothes get clean; it doesn't leave residue. It does really well on the cold wash, too, so that's been a great way to save money and not use the hot water all the time to get clothes clean.

Kenmore 70 Series Top Load Washer

4

I've had a Kenmore 70 series top load washer for 7 years and it's still going strong - even after my husband, who tries to be helpful, overloads it. It has several cycles, and the best are the delicate, which works really well for hand-washables - this saves a lot of time!) and the heavy duty for outdoor work clothes. The cons: the fabric softener dispenser sometimes pops off in the middle of a spin cycle. It sits on top of the agitator and even though I replace it according to instructions, it still comes off. The bleach dispenser doesn't evenly diffuse the bleach, but dumps it from one or two openings before all the water is loaded. The spin cycle normally removes most of the water, but can't do it for heavier items like jeans and jackets. Overall, a good basic washer for a relatively low price.

Kenmore- Its not heavy it just does heavy.

This washing machine is so great. It's HEAVY DUTY and has SUPER CAPACITY. It has several settings,pre-wash,heavy,normal, and delicate. It has three water settings. Plus it has a energy saving cold rinse on all cycles. It washes 12 big towels or 11 pairs of jeans. It also has 5 load levels. This machine is a wonder. The downy dispenser and bleach dispenser are lovely extras.

Kenmore 70Series Washer - A decent washer

3

I got this washing machine as part of a bundled deal.  So, I didn't specifically seek it to purchase it in particular.  I'm satisfied with it.  It gets the job done. One thing I don't like about this washer (and others I've used) is that the machine continues to run through the entire cycle even if the lid is opened.  I liked the other (maybe older?) machines that would fill up even if the lid were opened but would not slush/wash until the lid was shut.  That gave me time to fill a small load of water, add soap, slush, increase setting to large load, let remaining water fill while I added clothes.  But with this washer being able to run even with an opened lid, I have to pay more attention so that the whole cycle doesn't finish before I've even added my clothes! This top-loading machine is very simple to use: a knob for load size (small, medium, large) , a knob for temperature (cold/cold; warm/cold; hot/cold), and a knob for cycle type and duration (normal--up to 10 minutes; permanent press--up to 10 minutes; delicate--up to 6 minutes; Heavy Duty--up to 14 minutes). The one time I've done it, the interior and exterior both cleaned/wiped up easily (except for at least one trouble spot--think: cycle knob).

I love washing clothes with my kenmore, make my work easy clean

i am using **Kenmore Washer 70 Series**....i love it.Sure i will **refer my friends** to buy this brand. It has 3 speed motor with 4 speed combination. If the dirt is more i use "SUPER" mode.It even cleans **my baby's dry poop's(true statement**).Since my baby got Diaper rash i was forced to use cloth.I am very happy with my machine."ULTRA CLEAN"  mode does the same job with some less time. There is "SHORT" mode - i use it for clothes with less dirt.Daily i run my machine for my baby clothes, very less time. This mode help us save power.        We can set the water level too.1.**Low** 2.**Medium** 3.**High**. Depending on load level we can set the water level too.For example if you have less cloth say 5 set then you can choose in-between low and medium.so we can save the water too.If we can't set the water level then we have to use more water for less clothes not only that we need to add more soap liquid. If we add less liquid in more water the soap won't be enough to clean the cloths.         If you feel the dirt the more and it is very dry we have options like "**SOAK**" where we can soak it and then run the machine.Soaking helps the dirt to come of easily. For example if the dirt is heavy and hard we usually go for hand washing, where we rub a lot with brush to make the dirt go,which make your job tough. This "soak" option gives the hand cleaning satisfaction. There is another option for "**PRE-WASH".** **        "RINSE"- **it not only clean the dirt.It rinse properly.Normally it rinse two times and "Dry" it once.If you feel you added more liquid by mistake then no need to run the whole cycle. There is Rinse  option alone.Where it does the rinse  job alone.      It is **very quite** while it is doing the cleaning job. While the load is less or medium we don't hear any noise. **Cons:** If it is very **heavy load**,during Spinning there is some **noise.**This is one point i am not happy with.Other than this it is really very good Washing machine.

Kenmore 70 Series is WOW

5

I love my Kenmore 70 Series. It's an inexpensive machine that's works like one of those expensive machines. I love the Super capacity of the machine so that I can wash my bulky blankets without any problems. I also use the pre-wash function, to soak out those stubborn stains. I love having extra water levels too. I am single and sometimes I have a really small load to do and it fits to my needs.
