Kenmore 6-Quart Slow Cooker Review

My Kenmore 6-quart slow cooker is the most valuable small appliance that I own.  I couldn't live without it, and if it ever breaks I will buy another one the very same day!  My cooker has three temperature settings - high, medium, and low, as well as a "keep warm" feature which is extremely helpful if you are gone all day at work.  It also has a timer that works as either a "countdown" timer, or a "countup" timer.  I can put food in the slow cooker in the morning before work, set the temperature and the timer, and when the timer goes off the cooker switches to the "keep warm" temperature until you turn it off.  This way food doesn't get overcooked, but is nice and warm and ready to eat when I get home from work.  With three children, a full-time job, and a husband who works the swing shift, this is the ONLY way that we are able to eat a home-cooked meal!  The convenience is key, but an added bonus is the money that I save by using simple ingredients rather than convenience food.
