Let me be honest and say that I don't need 45 slots to chill wine. I really don't even need a dozen slots but why not get the best you can have? I usually chill about four bottles at a time. Occasionally I will add more. This machine has a temperature level you can adjust and it seems to keep wine somewhere between 45-60 degrees, although I usually prefer mine ice cold. The chiller has a digital display that reads the temperature the cooler is set on, but it doesn't tell you when the wine has actually reached that setting so I opt to put wine in about 10-12 hours ahead of time. It's a great chiller and works well for us, however, I don't need it to be so big and bulky. I also wish I could adjust the temperature down a bit colder for my preference. Another gripe with the temperature is that since it isn't sectioned off, I can't place any in a top section for cooler temps and a lower for warmer temps. Additionally, when you stock this machine, you have to keep in mind that you're stocking back to front so lesser used bottles should go in the back. This keeps all bottles relatively the same temperature so if I am chilling a Riesling, a Merlot, a Moscato, a Blush and a Zinfandel all at once, I can't control the temperature for these different types of wine. Now, I know I sound like I am complaining but overall this is a great item. It needs a little more work to be perfected. I also wish it came in a 10 bottle capacity because 45 bottles is just too many for me. I don't think I've ever had more than 12-14 bottles at a time, and even then, it was only because I knew I had room for it and knew we might be snowed in for a little while.

We bought this wine cooler when we returned stateside after living overseas for a couple years. We collected many bottles from the various countries we traveled to and wanted a place to store them until ready for consumption. This particular cooler is nice in size because we do not have a lot of space in our home and this cooler does not take up too much space. This has digital controls to make is easy and foolproof to achieve the temperature you want. It is also frost free and has a see through door so you do not waste energy leaving the door open for necessary amount of time trying to find which wine you have in mind. It also has an interior light to aid in viewing the labels. Another nice feature of this chiller is that is has an alarm that will chime if the door is not closed completely. I have little fingers in my house always touching everything so the stainless steel finish is nice to have and easy to clean.

Over the years I have acquired a lot of bottles of wine as gifts so I decided on investing in the Kenmore 45-Bottle Wine Chiller. This is a nice little size chiller that blends in effortlessly beside my kitchen counter. My two favorite features about this chiller is the see-thru glass and removable racks. The see-thru glass allows me to make a selection without compromising the temperature too drastically. The pull out racks/shelves are very sturdy, which is a good thing, but I wish they had some slight flex in them. The pull out racks makes it easy to grab a bottle from the back row without removing other bottles. The racks also come completely out so I can accommodate larger sized bottles, but they can be a little troublesome to get in and out depending on their shape because the shelves have no flexibility. This chiller does an excellent job of keeping my bottles at a cool 55 degrees Fahrenheit all year round. My only complaint about this chiller is that the motor runs at a nice little roar. It's much louder than my refrigerator, but thankfully it only happens for about once an hour for 30 seconds. I definitely would recommend the Kenmore 45-Bottle Wine Chiller.

I bought this for my aunt originally, because she is a major wine-guru (she makes her own wine as well as collects wine - she has over 300 bottles), but I loved it so much and I loved her response so much (she loved the product and actually went to the store herself to buy more) that I bought one for myself. I don't usually collect wine, but I had about 10 bottles sitting around and I love using this chiller. It makes the wine the perfect temperature and it looks nice. I have it in my pantry, but you could easily put this in the open and it would go with just about any furniture. It's black and sleek and, for the price you pay, works really well. This would also make a great present for those who are looking for a gift idea. The only downfall with this is that it's pretty large so it could really only go in a house (as opposed to an apartment). Overall, this is great for wine collectors or people who enjoy the original sip.

I love this wine chiller. As for function, it does its job and it does it well. It is everything you could possibly want in a wine chiller (and more). It features an LED temperature display so that you know what temperature it is set to at all times. It also has a door alarm. I did not think this function was essential, but I quickly found out how helpful it is for those times when you accidentally do not shut the door all the way. This function not only saves your wine, but it also helps to keep the chiller in top working order so that the compressor isn't being overworked every time the door is left open. Not only is it great functionally, but it is also a beautiful addition to any kitchen. I just love the way the stainless and black look together. Very sleek look. The see through door is a brilliant touch as it adds to the beauty of this appliance. I would recommend this chiller to anyone who is interested in a great looking wine chiller with amazing functions.

I have actually owned this Kenmore 45 Bottle Wine Chiller in Stainless Steel for about a year now and i have truly fallen in love with it. I really do love wine and with that being said I have pretty much filled this up with the max forty five bottles. First of all this wine chiller keeps the bottles at an excellent temperature so that the wine is ready to drink as soon as I take it out and open it. The second good thing about this product is the awesome design. This is a very classy and nice wine chiller and is a wonderful accent to my kitchen and luckily it matches my other appliances. This is actually a great conversation piece as well. I like that it has push button controls and it is very easy to use and get going. I do believe that it is a little pricey which is why I gave it a nine but if you can afford it I do recommend this to all wine connoisseurs. I have been way happy with mine. It is a perfect size to fit in my kitchen and I love taking out a new bottle of wine and sharing with my friends.

I got this for my father, who is a huge wine connoisseur/collector/afficienado, and he loves it! It is large enough to hold his very special wines with an easy-viewing access, yet it is also compact enough to fit in the side of the Dining Room. It actually looks like a nice piece of furniture as well! The temperature and humidity are quite precisely accurate, so my father never has to worry about the consistency of his wine.

When my husband proposed we buy this, I thought there was no way we would ever need a forty five bottle wine chiller. We had a few bottles we wanted to keep cold. Since we had room for it we started buying more wine and it hasn't taken long to fill it. We do have to keep our favorites up front because an entire shelf does has to be removed to reach the bottle in the very back. If you keep that in mind while stocking the chiller, it isn't to big of a deal. The wine does stay at a cool temperature, but the display only shows the temperature you set not the actual temperature. In order to get a true reading, we did buy an actual thermometer to help us keep an eye on temperature. I've had guests comment that it runs a little loud. I don't notice it. I haven't had a chiller prior to this one, so I can't say if this is just something common amoung wine chillers. For the price, I think it does a nice job.

Here are some of my favorite features of the wine chiller: ~The digital temperature control lets me be in charge. Not all wines need the same temperature. And much of that is actually up to personal preference, according to my father who loves to chill his red wine, a habit that I just can't stomach. ~Interior lighting makes it so easy to quickly find what I'm looking for. ~Organization! Depending on my mood, I may organize alphabetically, by region, year, or type. This chiller lets me do it all. ~Sleek and modern. I love the stainless steel finish, as it matches most of my appliances.

I cannot even explain how pleased I am with this Kenmore 45-bottle wine chiller. I purchased it last year in the summertime when my family and friends were over my house often to enjoy different kinds of wine with me. My reasoning for purchasing this was because it was actually quite inexpensive, and I was tired of the bottles of wine taking up too much space in my refrigerator. I bought it at Sears. I love the stainless steel look of this wine chiller. It looks so sleek, and it matches all of the other appliances in my kitchen perfectly. Something else I really enjoy about this wine chiller is the fact that it holds up to forty-five bottles. The temperature of it is perfect, and my wine always tastes crisp, fresh, and perfectly chilled. My only complaint about this appliance is the fact that it gets fingerprints on it really easily, and they are quite difficult to remove. Other than that, I am more than happy with this wine chiller.
