I have owned this washer for nearly 10 years and have recently started to experience serious mold problems with this washer. It has ruined several clothes and inserted mold spores into the air of my house. Not only has this washer ruined my clothes, it has caused serious problems throughout my home, which now require professional mold remediation. The design of this washer is very poor...Even leaving the door open after washes (as recommended by many who own front loaders experiencing the same issue) did not do a thing to circumvent the mold problems. Design This is the main issue with this washer: for whatever reason, water and detergent get stuck in the system which causes mold spores to thrive and propagate.
