Comments about Kenmore 4.2 cu. ft. Freestanding Gas Range w/ Broil & Serve™ Drawer - White:

This gas range stove came with the house we purchased. The house had been sitting for two years unused so the stove had some rust around where the burners get lit. I was a little shocked at this but I just cleaned it really well with some special cleaners and it seemed to be all right. I was able to cook with it for six months before it completely stopped working. While it was working it did work well. I love to cook only on a gas stove. I have always loved it. The burners always lit right away I never had a problem with those. All of my meals cooked through evenly. The settings were even correct, when you had it set to low the flame was actually low. The oven worked great too. The temperature was accurate because I would set the timer for a casserole and it would come out great. Not burned or under cooked. I was happy with it until it just stopped working. A maintenance guy told me it was because it had been sitting unused for two years.
