I'm a loyal fan of the "old-school" style of washing machines. I have owned a front loader, and while it wasn't bad, I guess I'm just old fashioned. I got that trait from my grandma who used a washboard as long as she was strong enough to do her own laundry. My favorite feature of the Kenmore 3.6 cubic feet Top-Load Washer with Deep Wash Cycle is the deep wash cycle itself. I have a husband that is a coach and two sons who are really tough on clothes. Additionally, I work as a personal trainer, so between the four of us, there is a lot of sweat and stains that need to be eradicated. Additionally, I use cloth diapers and wipes for my sons. This particular Kenmore machine does an incredible job of getting out every last bit of grit and grime from our clothing. We also use reusable rags and cleaning cloths in as well as cloth napkins. So, between all of the non-disposable items in our home, I needed a machine that could really handle a serious load. The Kenmore does not disappoint.
