A solid appliance
Initially, I looked at purchasing this Kenmore Dishwasher with PowerWave Spray Arm because I was replacing another Kenmore dishwasher which had been a true workhorse. So, I had very high expectations for this next Kenmore. Although not all of them have been met or exceeded, this appliance has still turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Firstly, I needed an appliance in a bisque shade to match other appliances and the cabinets in the kitchen. This unit worked perfectly for that aspect. Secondly, I wanted a dishwasher that was quiet. This one is not noiseless, but it is acceptable in my estimation. For folks who are light sleepers or who have a small baby, the sound level may not be acceptable. But, in my circumstances, it is ok. Thirdly, I wanted a dishwasher with a power arm. Many that have this feature are more expensive than this unit, so I was pleased with the price I had to pay, in this model, and for the performance it yields. Lastly, it does a solid job of cleaning the dishes. It's not the best dishwasher I have every owned, but it is an acceptable one.
