Kelly Clarkson - My December Review Summary
Few American Idol winners have seen the success and won as many accolades as the original Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson. success and won the praise as the original winner Kelly Clarkson can lay claim to. The community readily agrees that Clarkson’s third release My December, while dark and somewhat depressing, is probably her best album to date, with one reviewer stating that “Clarkson’s My December is one Depressing Listen,” while another exclaimed “[T]his album is my life in song.” Clarkson is widely praised for having written most of the (brooding) tracks on My December in her honest unpretentious manner. On this album Clarkson seems to be coming into her, owning who and why she is. Clarkson fought hard to produce an album that reflected her and My December opens a window into her soul. Even though she got a little angry at someone during the writing period obviously, at least she had the guts to connect to people on all the levels she can. Not only singing about letting your self follow your dreams, but feeling the anger when some one hurts you. She pulls off a great collection of song, and while a depressing cloud is cast over the album, she has a real sound and it's refreshing to see.

My December by Kelly Clarkson is one of the best albums I've bought recently. It's passionate, real, and original. Her voice is amazing, and these songs will make you feel something for sure. I never even watched American Idol, and I really enjoy this CD. If you like this, I would recommend Pink, Inara George, and Aimee Mann. Kelly Clarkson really breathed life and rock back into pop music with this album. This album makes the rotation in my road trip music collection every time. why is this album listed next to pearl jams "TEN" or pink floyds "Dark Side of the Moon"?
its musical blasphemy. what happened to music? or artist that were real artist?!?!!? some one please take the lead and make something real! dont get me wrong, she has an amazing voice, i just hate to see it waste singing crap
