Kelly Clarkson - All I Ever Wanted —

I was really excited when I heard that Kelly Clarkson's new album was going to be released, and it was a purchase that I have been very happy with since it was dropped.  The first single on the album,  My life would suck without you brought a lot of energy to the new album, and set the tone for when it would be released.  The track is very upbeat, where Kelly sings about how her life would "suck" without the topic of her song.  It is one of those songs that has a great guitar lead-in, and which presents energy from the very first note all the way to the great finish.  It is classic Kelly Clarkson, and really impresses this album as one of Clarkson's best, if not her best album, since she graduated from American Idol.

All I Ever Wanted is the name of the new Kelly Clarkson album, and it sort-of sets the stage for a disc full of a different range of songs that serves to at once present some great lyrics and a number of fast songs that make the album really stand out.  It was a good idea to start the album with the first single, and as the CD moves into I do not hook up, and then to Cry, it continues to be an impressive album that keeps rewarding the listener as you progress through each of the songs.  My favorite song on the album is If I can't have you, which starts out as an unassuming track, but again build up the energy, and at times you forget about the serious topic (love) that is at the heart of her music.

I think that with All I Ever Wanted Kelly Clarkson really has another winner on her hands, and the replay value of the album is extremely high.  Instead of having just a few tracks that might be interesting and lose their flavor, this high-energy album keeps entertaining me, and has served as a great set of songs to play on the way home from work.  I think that this is Kelly Clarkson at her best, and that the album shows a lot of maturity as Clarkson continues to grow into her music, and with this album completely comes out of her shell as a talented songstress.  Any fan of Kelly Clarkson will love this album, and it becomes an immediate "must-have" for fans of great pop and rock music.

Another great music review. She's come a long way since American Idol hasn't she?
