I bought a package of the new Special K Fruit Crisps out of curiosity because I have tried and enjoyed many other Special K snacks - like the tomato and herb crackers and the cereal bars. Each individual package includes two "crisps," which are thin wafer-like crackers with stawberry filling and vanilla frosting drizzled on top. I was pleasantly surprised with how good they were! They taste like cookies more than anything, and they were a perfect morning snack with my cup of coffee. One of the best things about them is that one package - two crisps - is only 100 calories. I don't have to feel guilty after grabbing these for a light and yummy snack.

I don't know if there are any other flavors available right now because the product is relatively new. The strawberry flavor was delicious, but I would definitely be willing to try other flavors as well. Five stars for Special K fruit crisps! Yum!

Special K Fruit Crisps are ironically anything but "special." They're not disgusting, but they're not all that good either. They're extra crunchy, don't have much filling, and kind of taste like a dried out, super thin, overcooked PopTart. I ate one that I got as a free sample, but I would never spend money on them.

Special K Fruit Crisps

Comments about Kellogg's - Special K Fruit Crisps:

For a low calorie snack these are quite good. I use many products from Special K and these are a food option for a low calories treat. They come in a variety of tasty flavors, like strawberry, mixed berries, and brown sugar. They are not too large so you may want more than one pack at a time. I find they are a good breakfast option along with a cup of coffee. My kids like to take them to school either in their lunch or just as a snack. Even my youngest thinks they are tasty, he just thinks they are another cookie. The outer pastry is very crispy, but in no way hard. When you bite into them there is a nice inner fruit filling, that is just the right sweetness. There is a nice drizzle of frosting on the outside, but it is not creamy, kind of hardened on the top. These are very good considering each serving is only 100 calories. These can be treated as a snack or as an in between meal when dieting. I recommend these for families.

Special K makes me feel special...

By

from Tom Bean, Texas

Comments about Kellogg's - Special K Fruit Crisps:

I am always looking for the latest and greatest with regards to healthy food and snack options. I watch my calories, fats and consume only what is necessary to keep my body functioning at it's best and Kellogg's Special K helps me keep my body running at a healthy level by providing products that satisfy my sweet, salty and crunchy needs.

In this product of the Fruit Crisps, I have found the satisfaction of the "sweet" craving. These bars (2 of them in a serving) give me the sweet indulgence of strawberry, cinnamon and blueberry tastes that I love. There's some frosting drizzled on top of each crispt that makes me feel like I am getting a bit of "extra" in my snack and that just plays a head game with me. I get, not only my sweet fix, but my crunchy fix, too. The crisps leave a satisfying crunch that my pallette loves. When I am finished with both crisps, I feel happy, full and ready to go on for several more hours.

If you are watching your calories but still want something sweet and indulgent, these crisps with only 100 calories per portion are excellent in helping you achieve your goals.

love it

Comments about Kellogg's - Special K Fruit Crisps:

These little bars are delicious. They are a bit small but they are sweet enough to satisfy the sweet tooth even if they are a bit small. I love the frosting on the outside, and the crispiness of the outer layer. For me, these are a perfect mid-morning somewhat healthy snack choice

Filling snack

By

Comments about Kellogg's - Special K Fruit Crisps:

I first tried them while on a "road trip." They have a very good taste and were a good snack. Unlike some similar snacks, they were not overly dry. To date I have enjoyed the strawberry, blueberry, chocolate, caramel, brown sugar & cinnamon, and cookies & creme. I was not as impressed with the cookies & crème. The flavor of the crisp masked the crème filling entirely. Aside from that, I would definitely recommend these snack items to everyone. It also helps to monitor your calorie intake as they are 100 calories per package. A good between-meal item without all the calories of candy.

Yummy 100 calorie snack

By

from USA

Comments about Kellogg's - Special K Fruit Crisps:

It is a tasty snack that is only 100 calories. It comes in two wafers, which is always nice when snacking. I like the strawberry and chocolate flavors. It is very similar in taste to a poptart. I find it is useful to keep in my purse, so I always have a little something to tide me over until I can have lunch. I did not give it a 10 because it does not keep me full like some other 100 calorie snacks. I would like to see a peanut butter flavor, which may help give that "full" feeling. I also did not give it a 10 because the price is a bit high for 5 bars in a pack.

Great Replacement For PopTarts

By

from Syracuse, New York

Comments about Kellogg's - Special K Fruit Crisps:

The main reason I bought these was for myself, trying to eat healthier, feel like I am doing the right thing and because I saw a coupon for them online. Turns out to have been a really great choice for the whole family. I feel much better about giving them these and have stopped buying poptarts entirely. The great thing is tha they are easy for on the go, we can take them on trips or outtings or if my kids are running late and going to miss breakfast. Even better is the fact that they sk for them now rather than other similar brands that are lss healthy and more sugary.

Pleasantly surprised.

Comments about Kellogg's - Special K Fruit Crisps:

I had made a plan to start the Special K diet and after buying what I needed...I started to get very disappointed. I didn't like the taste/texture of the protein meal bars at all. Then I tried these and I was pleasantly surprised. There wasn't much filling in them (but of course, that is how they keep the calories down.) I tried the strawberry and brown sugar ones and I preferred the strawberry. I'm no longer attempting the Special K diet but I still keep these on hand when I want a tasty snack. :)

Kellogg's got it right with the New Special K Fruit Crisps. At only 100 calories each, these light and sweet pastry's can hold you over to the next mealtime. Choose from strawberry, blueberry, chocolately delight or brown sugar cinnamon to indulge in. The taste is heavenly, really delicious. It's hard to choose a favorite. They hit the spot and fill you up. I always have my private stash on hand. It's hard for the rest of the family to realize this is for their weight watching mom. The taste surely doesn't give away the secret. Kellogg's provides a wonderful way for their consumers to save money on them. Become a member of Kellogg's Family Rewards online and not only to you get coupons for your favorite items but you earn points to purchase rewards for buying them also. Kellogg's doesn't miss a beat. Delicious Breakfast on the Go or snack

By

from Bridgeville, PA

Comments about Kellogg's - Special K Fruit Crisps:

These pastry crisps are very good. They remind me of a thinner, healthier pop-tart. However, the box advises against heating the crisps in the microwave or toaster. Much less greasy and less crumbly than a pop-tart, these are great for grown-ups and kids too.
For 50 calories per crisp there is plenty of filling and icing flavor. These are great for breakfast on the go, but also for a quick snack. My daughter and I often split a package for an afternoon snack. Our favorite is the strawberry or brown sugar cinnamon flavors. They taste more indulgent than a cookie, and much healthier than most processed cereal bars or snacks.
I have recommended these to several friends who have since purchased, and agree these crisps are wonderful. I keep some in my diaper bag for a quick pick-me-up for myself or my daughter! We look forward to trying all the flavors that Kellogg's has to offer!
