Kellogg's Rice Krispies Review Summary

One cereal that still has legions of fans is Kellogg’s Rice Krispies, a basic breakfast cereal that has been around for ages. Reviewers young and old love Rice Krispies for its wholesome goodness, its malted rice flavor, and its use in making universally loved Rice Krispies Treats. Reviewers claim that Rice Krispies are “The Absolute Best Cereal in the World” and they offer “Snaps and Crackles With Goodness for You”. About the only drawback with Rice Krispies is that, since they are low in fat, they will make you “Hungry an Hour Later”. But the low fat, low sugar, low calories, and light, crispy taste make Kellogg’s Rice Krispies a classic breakfast Cereal that is certain to please most everyone who tries them.

I do not know who decided to puff up and crisp rice, but they had a great idea. Rice Krispie cereal is going on 80 years now and still popular year after year. I've yet to meet anyone who has never tried it.

My confession is that I'm much more likely to make Rice Krispie Treats than to pour Rice Krispies...

I really love the Rice Krispies.  I have been eating them for too many years than I care to admit.

I have fond memories of eating them for breakfast at my grandmothers and putting so much sugar on it that the milk actually turns into a grayish sugar sludge that probably would have rotted my teeth had my mother allowed that much sugar in my cereal.

My first dessert I ever made from a recipe when I was about 12 was the Rice Krispy Treats.  I remember them not looking so pretty, but boy, were they tasty.  My brother and I would make fake vomit with Rice Krispies for Halloween.

I probably...

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you received an envelope with the free coupon for Rice Krispie's, did you notice the voice from the insert?
There are two batteries inside the greeting card that holds the coupons. Take them out if you can for yourself and for the enviroment. SWEET FREE BATTERIES.

Now, on to the review. Kellogg's Rice Krispies have always been Fabulous to eat. I never have been disappointed in the quality of this cereal.

One tip for Kellogg's lower your prices a bit, and I will never eat another brand of cereal.

Rice Krispies is a cereal that has been around for many years and I still love the taste of it in the mornings.  I love cereal and Rice Krispies is crunchy all the way through to the last spoonful.  I love pouring milk on top of this cereal because it really goes snap, crackle and pop.  The cereal is a blend of puffed rice flakes that taste delicious.  There isn't a sugary sweet taste and the cereal holds up to milk throughout your breakfast.  This is a really healthy cereal because there are just 120 calories in each serving and no fat.  Each rice puff is very flavorful.  Besides a cereal,... review »

I really enjoy rice krispies cereal & LOVE to make rice krispy cereal bars.  BUT, have found that it doesn't stay with you very long.  Am unsure why as it's a cereal item but it seems that about an hour after eating it, I'm hungry again & need to grab orange juice, etc. to keep my blood sugar level on the right track.  I would imagine it's due to it being so light that it just doesn't stick with you for long.   I now only buy it when I want to make the krispy bars.

Rice Krispies....AAAAHHHH it does get any more memory provoking than eating old Snap,Crackle and Pop!!! It was the one cereal we always had in the house. What a great invention!! Not only is the a pretty darn good cereal but you can take 2 other simple ingredients and make one of my all time favorite snacks Rice Krispie treats. Yumm...We had those on every special occasion. Rice Krispies hasn't changed in 40 years and I for one am so greatful. It's just a good old fashioned bargain, it tastes good and it's practical.  It's not that filling alone but with some bannanas on top well breakfast is... review »

Rice Krispies, a long standing cereal at my family's breakfast table.  I ate it when I was a kid and my kids kids are eating it still today.  I am a grandma and I love rice krispies cereal, as do my boys and their children.  It has been on our breakfast menu at home for many years.  I believe it is one of the healthier cereals of today for the fact that it isn't loaded with sugar.  We spoon that on ourselves to our delight.  Throw a banana on too and what a perfect source of nutrients to start your day.  I sometimes have a bowl for a late night snack.  It is light and doesn't make me feel...

With all the hussle and bussle of getting kids off to school, the hubby off to work and getting myself motivated for a day of vigorious activities it is always such a treat to take a few minutes out of our busy morning to sit down as a family and share our box of cereal. Rice Krispies is the one thing that we all agree on!!

With times being as fast paced as they seem to be now just having that few minutes with everyone around the table is very important.

Rice Krispies is good whether you eat it with milk only or if you add sugar to it. The kids opt usually to sprinkle sugar over theirs. I personally...

Kelloggs Rice Crispies remind me of my childhood with their famous snap, crackle and pop. They still taste good . But now, with more thoughts on healthy eating and many more healthful items on the market, I dont eat this cereal very often. I feel other grains for fiber and immunity are better. Some other cereals have less calories and more fiber, vitamins and minerals. And, now that I am older, I have become very health conscious, and I feel oatmeal and cherrios are better heart  health cereals.I am not reviewing Kashi for now but that would be one for being on the top of the list.. Rice Crispies...

My family enjoys Rice Crispies for anytime of the day. THis is the kind of cereal that we can make fun...we like to add all kind of tasty treats to the ceral. We use freash fruits and have even added strawberry milk to cahnge up the flavor. ( I have a four year old daughter who thought of that concoction) We also enjoy making rice crispsie treats for all occasions. It is treat that we all LOVE to snack on Rice Krispie treats on the go. One of the best things about making them that it is easy and we can decorate them based on the occasion. We love Rice Krispies Cereal.

rice krispies can be used in all meals not just breakfast.  They are greay for breakfast for children but you can make snacks use them w/ meat pototaes, anything. They are cheap and you don't need a lot to cook with. kids love them and they now come in many flavors they are a all time favorite. You can add all kinds of things to them to make wonderful treats, Chocklate, marshmallowws , bannANAS, strawberrys what ever you like.

I got my box of Kellogg's Rice Krispies and fell in love all over again. I had forgotten how much I liked them. I gre up on Kellogg's Rice Krispies and gave them up as a young adult. Then I got into the healthy cereal. Will I chekced the box and Kellogg's Rice Krispies is just as good as many of the so called heathly cereals. And then  there the Rice Krispies bars! Ohh how could I forget them. Try Kellogg's Rice Krispies again and find a lost love.

Although Rice Krispies Cereal doesn't have fiber or oats like its competitor cereal Cheerios, I believe its the next best healthy choice. (that is if you don't put sugar on it!) It is so addicting, wow, I could eat the entire box in one sitting, it is just that tasty and good!! Everyone should have a cereal that "talks" to you.
