When I first joined Viewpoints I posted a review on a blueberry cereal.  I mentioned that although it tasted really good dry, as a snack, it left a little to be desired as a cereal in milk.  The little pieces got real soggy and mushy and in layman's terms was just plain nasty.  Well, I would not say that about Kellogg's Frosted Mini-Wheats Blueberry Muffin.  These little cereal biscuits are everything that the other cereal wasn't.

I have never been a lover of wheat cereals.  I can remember growing up and watching my mother eat the shredded wheats and later the Frosted Mini-Wheats.  I also remember driving by big farmlands and seeing the bales of hay all nicely rolled together and sitting side by side.  In my head that is what I thought those little wheat biscuits looked like--dry hay.  That stuff was intended for cows and horses and I wasn't about to eat it! I wouldn't touch the stuff.

Then they came out with the Strawberry Delight and even though I am allergic to strawberries I tried them because there wasn't real strawberries in it.  Each time Kellogg's has introduced a new variety of Mini-Wheats I am on the bandwagon to try them.  The Blueberry Muffin is the latest flavor.

Each biscuit is coated with that wonderful icing and packed with a blueberry flavor that is out of this world delicious!  I took a bag to my friend's house and sat it on her counter.  Her 2-year-old grandson saw them and wanted some.  We were all really surprised when he ate one and then asked for more!  We thought he would turn his nose up or try to spit it out once he realized how dry it was but he didn't.  I even suggested we give him a few more biscuits with milk but he wanted them dry.

I also enjoy the Frosted Mini-Wheats Blueberry Muffin dry but because of the whole wheat I cannot eat but a few before I feel as if I am going to choke on them.  So, I have to eat them with milk.  They are very crunchy and keep their bite even when put in milk.  They will absorb the milk enough to moisten them but not to make them soggy.  You are guaranteed to get a mouthful of blueberry flavor with every bite.  How can you not experience the wonderful taste of blueberries with this cereal?

I don't eat cereal for breakfast--I don't eat breakfast as a morning meal.  I eat cereal late in the evening if I feel hungry; want something to eat but not anything heavy on my stomach late in the evening.  Frosted Mini-Wheats Blueberry Muffin is the perfect thing to satisfy a hunger craving, a sweet tooth or a healthy appetite.

It is said that a serving suggestion is approximately 24 biscuits.  In my head that seems like a lot because I cannot fathom eating that many but then again, these are mini-wheats.  I still don't think I am eating no 24 biscuits in a bowl.  Whatever the case may be, here are the nutritional facts.

I really liked Frosted Mini-Wheats Blueberry Muffin.  In fact, I ate the whole 16 oz. box in about 3 weeks; which is unusual for me to finish off a box of cereal that quickly.   I purchased it at Wal-Mart for approximately $3.29.

I just have to keep one of the varieties in my pantry at all times. When I am dining solo, they make a great quick dinner.

I think I may have put it in my review. My best friend's little grandson ate these dry and loved them. He just turned 3 on St. Patrick's Day and after he ate one little "pillow" he asked for more!

I think it is relatively new because when I was talking about it at the office everyone was asking me how long I had the box. Since I bought mine at Wal-Mart I have since seen it at Bi-Lo and Food Lion.

See, I'm just the opposite :+) I like blueberry flavor but won't eat a fresh blueberry! Are we picky or what?

I used to love eating Frosted Mini-Wheats cereal. This was before I got Celiac Disease. I sure do miss having this type of cereal. The blueberry flavor sounds very yummy! ;-) ~Krista Lynn

I'll eat pretty much anything that has blueberries or is blueberry flavored. I also love cereal. I'm going to have to try this one.

I love blueberries so I may give this a go and see how I like it. Thanks. I find so many interesting things on VP.

OH MY........this sounds yummy! I haven't even seen it in the stores, but I'll be looking for it now. Thanks.

This personally doesn't sound good to me because of the blueberry flavor. I like blueberries, but not blueberry flavored products. I do like the regular Frosted Mini Wheats though.
