Kaytee Spray Millet Review Summary
Birds love Kaytee Spray Millet so much, say our reviewers, that “if you don’t watch it, birds will only consume this treat.” “Birds go nuts” says a bird owner, while another explains “I once got a bird that flew away to fly back onto the cage by bringing the cage outside and putting millet on it.” While this is a tasty tread for birds, our reviewers warn that Kaytee Spray Millet is high in cholesterol and is not suitable as the primary bird food in your bird’s diet.

I STARTED BUYING THIS WHEN I GOT MY FIRST COCKATIEL. I WANTED TO HAND TAME A PARENT FED BIRD. — IT TOOK ONE WEEK AND SHE WAS IN LOVE WITH ME FOR MY MILLET. — THIS IS HIGH IN COLESTROL SO SHOULD ONLY BE USED AS A TREAT AND NOT AS A STABLE DIET. — I GIVE THIS TO THE PARENTS WHEN THEY ARE HATCHING THEIR CLUTCH SINCE THE LITTLE EXTRA CALORIES IS GOOD FOR THEM AND THEY CAN EAT WHILE SITTING. — I ALSO LAY IT OUT DURING THE FIRST 6-8 WEEKS WHILE THE BABIES ARE BEING FED. — IT HELPS IN WEANING SINCE THE BABIES LOVE IT AND ENCOURAGES THEM TO EAT ON THEIR OWN. — AS I…

I have found this treat is a delicatessie for birds, All birds love it. I only had this treat only in their cage only thinkiking it was their food. If you don't watch it birds will only consume this treat. They love it. Yes it can be messy but what i learned to do is, buy a large bowl for your birds and cut the treat up and put it in a bowl and you don't have to worry about it being all outside of their cage. You can find treat holders, but myself, I would rather place their treat in a…

bird lover, a busy person
This stuff will be all over the place, and the seeds are too small to pick up with anything but a high powered vaccuum. The birds will eat it all immediately. I sometimes worry that the leftover stick could poke them in the eye. I once got a bird that flew away to fly back onto the cage by bringing the cage outside and putting millet on…

I have an African Grey and a Cockatiel and they both love this treat. Yes it can be messy but they love it so much it makes it worth cleaning up after them both. They both get excited when they see me getting it out! When I give them this millet spray as a treat they react almost like a child does when you give them candy or…

I like to give my bird millet and she eats it like it is candy. She can't get enough of it! I'm sure this product would be good for birds of all types, but my bird is a cockatiel. You shouldn't feed your bird a diet of seed alone though, and millet can not be used in place of food. Millet should be used as a treat and given…
