Nice ride, but some technical issues keep you roadside.

My boyfriend bought a (used) Kawasaki Vulcan 750 almost a year ago. It was his first bike purchase, and for that purpose it was great. It is a simple bike, not complex in its use or a million gadgets all over it like some touring bikes have. The design is great and the comfort of riding it is pleasurable for both the driver and the rider. We did have some mechanical issues over time though. While I know the age of the bike plays a factor, some things need mentioning.
There was a leak somewhere in the bike, causing it to smoke, which was always scary to have happen on the road. We think...
