I bought my Nomad new in 2002, I have just about 49K miles on it. I haven't been sorry I bought it at all. My wife frequently rides with me as my passenger.

Saddle bags can fit a lot of stuff, though can easily be filled depending on what you're putting inside.

My mods include:

  • Power Commander III USB
  • Vance & Hines Exhaust - Dual Baggers
  • Mustang Seat w/backrest
  • Passenger Backrest with luggage rack
  • Kuryakyn ISO-Grips
  • Lite Bar
  • Quick Release for windshield and Saddle bags
  • Tank Bib
  • Head light Pulser (has really reduced cars from pulling out in front)
  • Throttle Lock
  • Electronic Cruise Control

I love to go out riding...

Vulcan 1500. A good bike. Don't have one anymore, but was my first experience on the back of a bike, as a passenger. Was easy to get those special parts to make the bike yours and was a comfortable ride. That fuel injection was a godsend when it was taken up in the mountains at Pike's Peak. I would definately recommend this bike to anyone who likes to ride and has passengers that enjoy it also.  Happy riding and stay safe.
