I tend to have dry skin, particularly in the winter when the wind is up and also when we use a lot of heat in the house. I found that this simple addition to my makeup and skin care routine helps combat that problem. This is a very light serum that you apply to your skin either in the morning or evening or both after you have cleansed you skin, but before you put on your moisturizer or night cream. You only need one pump spray of this clear serum and then you massage it into your skin. It does take a few minutes for it to absorb, so if you have time constraints in the morning, you might want this to be part of your evening routine. Once it is absorbed, you don't even know that it is there other than your dry skin problems seem to disappear, ot at least mine did. It also gave my face a very smooth feeling. As with all Kate Somerville products, it is expensive, but as I mentioned you only need one pump spray per application, so the 1 fluid ounce container lasts a long time. Effectiveness Way over-priced for what it ultimately does
