Once in a while I love to splurge and indulge in a sweet treat. Kashi has done a great job at making cookies that are not only big on flavor, but healthy too. These cookies have the great flavor of dark chocolate, and the delicious taste of real oats. I love that the chocolate is rich and decadent, but not to strong to take over the flavor of the spiced oatmeal. These cookies are perfect for those craving chocolate because they are made with whole grains and low in fat. They have a chewy and moist taste that is homemade. Each serving of one cookie is 130 calories and 5 grams of fat. The cookies are large and the perfect ending to any meal and a satisfying sweet. Kashi also makes cookies in Happy Trail Mix and Oatmeal with Flax flavor. My favorite is the chocolate and oatmeal because it is a perfect blend of flavors. The people at Kashishow that snacking can be tasty, indulgent, and the cookies have nutrition you can feel great about. Each of the cookies combine our the Kashi signature seven whole grain blend with hearty, natural ingredients such as peanuts, raisins, sunflower seeds, cranberries, walnuts, shredded coconut, flax seeds, and dark chocolate. The result is a delicious chewy cookie that has a home-baked taste without the high calories.
