Kashi - TLC variety —

Kashi came out with a new cereal bar, available in strawberry, apple and blackberry. I purchased and ate their strawberry version of a fruit bar. Blah, this was dry, and extremely grainy, the flavor was so lacking - my own tongue begged me to eat a spoon of sugar (which I did not do.) The flavour was definitely not an artificial strawberry, but not a sweet, ripe one either. It's as if someone picked strawberries, and assume that because it was organic, a consumer would actually be duped to thinking it tasted good. It's about 3.5" in size, with 6 sealed bars in a box, and can retail anywhere from $2.50 (on sale) to $4.00. Definitely stick to Kellog's or some other name brand fruit bar - this seems like they are more concerned with organic ingredients than about the actual taste - which is important, especially for those of you who give it to kids. It leaves your mouth dry, wanting you to drink something!
