From time to time I get coupons in the mail to try new products.  I received one for Kashi Honey Sunshine Cereal.  I don't know what's going on at Kashi but this Kashi Honey Sunshine Cereal just doesn't measure up to their standards of healthy, delicious cereals!  It's tasteless, doesn't hold up to milk and has no redeeming quality at all.  The dismal, mealy aftertaste is an oxymoron because it had no taste to begin with!  I've been a  Kashi consumer for years, however recently I've been disappointed with their new line of products.

The morning after purchasing it I served Kashi Honey Sunshine Cereal for breakfast.  My husband who is ex-British military tried it and couldn't finish it.  He tried it dry - even worse.  This coming from a man who has eaten food from packages that were meant to have a shelf-life of 10 years! I ended up throwing the uneaten, soggy, cereal away and making him blueberry pancakes.  After that ordeal I thought he deserved a breakfast treat.  I found the flavor so unpalatable I took the unfinished product back to the supermarket for a refund.

In my opinion Kashi Honey Sunshine Cereal  has missed the mark . . . it's tasteless!

Actually I thought the name was clever i.e. honey =sweet and sunshine=new . . . it just didn't live up to its name. . . thanks so much for the read!!

I really love Kashi but lately as you stated their cereals have been hit or miss. . . I still love and buy their GoLean brand but this one, well . . . all I could say is that the packaging was pretty. . . thanks for the read!

Nice review of a horrible-sounding cereal. I prefer Post's Honey Bunches of Oats line, especially the ones with bits of fruit..

I love cereal too and for Kashi to fall this far beyond their tasty standards is odd; I love their Go-Lean line . . . but the Honey Sunshine didn't make the cut for me! Thanks for the read! :)

Sounds like a resounding failure. That's too bad because I love cereal and would have likely tried. Thanks for the warning. :)

I love cereal too. I'll stay away from this one. I think Kashi is hit or miss.

I was totally shocked by the lack of flavor. Kashi brand cereals are generally tasty, but this one is not good! Thanks for the read!

I totally agree with you...
