When my husband developed Type II Diabetes, we both went through nutrition counseling. I was delighted to discover that my favorite cereal was on the "YES" list. It is relatively low in carbs and high in fiber, making it a good choice for someone with Type II Diabetes. It is also great for ME -- a senior citizen with an early morning schedule who needs a "kick start" in the morning. I start my day with a bowl of Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal and a small tub of yogurt. The taste is great, the crunch wakes me up, and it's a healthy start to a busy day. There's nothing boring about this cereal -- it tastes wonderful and gets you off to a great start!
