Most HelpfulI really love the new Kashi frozen meals, because they are a good size portion and are healthy dishes. I am a vegetarian, so I was so happy to see that they have a few vegetarian options in their line of frozen meals. I first tried the Tuscan Veggie Bake which was a mix of vegetables like squash,...

Most HelpfulI have tried 3 different varieties of Kashi frozen meals. I would rate them as average. On the plus side, they're healthy - less sodium and fat than you'd expect from frozen meals. I enjoy the ease of making a frozen meal for my lunch, but dislike the unhealthy qualities of many of my choices. ...
review »I LOVE KASHI's frozen meals. My favorites are chicken pomodori, and the lemon rosemary chicken... As most people would think and some know, that healthy usually equals NO FLAVOR, these meals are the exception to it all.....
When I first began working after college, I turned to the inexpensive frozen food entrees for bringing lunch to work. Over the years, I have tried several dozen different meals, and I think Kashi has some of the best tasting frozen meals on the market. While I really enjoyed the flavor of the Cafe Steamers line of food, Kashi combines taste with healty food. Most entrees provide 24+% of daily dietery fiber requirement.
I still shop on the cheap, and when I found these on a BOGO sale, I stocked up. The sale price put these at $2 a meal, and I often pair it with a Kashi snack bar ($0.50)...
review »I received a coupon for a free Kashi frozen food meal, so I said "Why not?" & picked up their Chicken Pasta Pomodoro. First of all, organic or not, for the size of the package this is outrageously priced. At my local Hy-Vee store it was priced at around $5 for ONE dinner! Still I had the free coupon, so I put in the cart & went on my way. A few days later I decided to take it to work for lunch. I had expected a nice chicken & pasta dish with a garlic/tomato flavor to it. What I actually had was a dry, pasty little meal with virtually no flavor what so ever, yet somehow the pasta ended up being...
review »i just tried the new Kashi frozen entree "chicken pompadoro" and well let s just say using the word "chicken " in the name is slight at best. I found three small pieces of chicken in my entree. The pasta which was a rotini was wheat but very tough and chewy its also says it has zuchini squash in it, only found three or four small pieces of this. So I dont think that this entree is worth the 3.50 I paid for it I think I will just make my own pasta dish and feed my family of six for 7.50 as opposed to 21.00 it would cost to give every one one of these entrees. WE could even afford...
review »The Kashi frozen entrees are surprisingly tasty - I like the vegetable lasagna and anything with the quinoa. I was really pleased about how well a microwave meal could turn out. These entrees are actually healthy, not just advertised as healthy/low fat but are actually full of sugar and miscellaneous chemicals. The ingredients are high-quality and taste wonderful. They did a great job with this product.
Whew! I tried the Sweet and Sour Chicken frozen entree by Kashi. It tasted terrible and had a weird flavor. That's not he worst of it. I then started making frequent trips to the bathroom. It gave be diarrhea. I would not recommend this product unless you are constipated.
