I have gone to Kaplan for the last three years. In November 2006 I was awarded for Deans honors list for having a high GPA. I am majoring in Bachelors in information in technology and design. Every year they seem to add something new. I find the classes are what I need to achieve my bachelors and better my knowledge. The books arrive two weeks before start date if you enroll in time. Instead of taking five years like a onsite campus here its only going to take four years to graduate. You dont have to only take one or two classes but you can take three to graduate even earlier. But people are right for some you have to take no less than 10credits per semester and yes I can become costly. I am one to say the student loans and grants will be used wisely for my classes.
But if it weren's schools like Kaplan I wouldnt be able to go due to I am a mother of four, a wife, and I have to work to provide my share. My time is night time and with Kaplan I can attend anytime I want. When it comes to classes I dont have to and when your a freshman you talk to the advisor and they can find you classes where you dont have to attend to seminars. I have taken one seminar in three years. The other two was volunteer to help better understand the class and the homework. I think Kaplan is a great school and give it full credit.
