I took a Kaplan review course years ago.  It was virtually uneless.  my friend took kaplan personal statement service and she also commented kaplan as useless.  i strongly discourage attending this expensive yet almost useless courses -- unless you are a beginner and Kaplan can tell you some exam knowldege.
