I really like this springform cake pan. In my opinion, the worst part about baking a cake, bars or brownies is getting it out of the pan and onto a serving platter without messing it up. That is why I like this pan. After you take it out of the oven and it is cooled off, you release the catch and the sides just peal right off without damaging the cake!
I usually don't even transfer it to another serving plate, because the bottom of the pan is very sturdy and stable enough to serve off of. The bottom plate has about an inch all around the cake, so you can carry it by the sides, and not...
