Kaboost is a reverse booster; it fits on the bottom of your chair, lifting it up to the table, rather than having a seat sitting on a chair. We have a cushy booster that sits on top, and my two year old wouldn't sit in it because his brother (five) wasn't in one himself. This led to lots of standing in the chair to get up to the table to eat. I had read about the Kaboost in a magazine and a day later, was stopped by a woman in a store, and she handed me a card. Our son learned to climb into his baby high chair by himself when he was just over a year old. Needless to say this is about the time that we decided that the high chair may no longer be the safest option. I saw the Kaboost advertised in a parenting magazine and was excited to learn that it is widely available in baby stores and it is under $40. We purchased one and immediately began using it.
