There was a Kentucky Fried Chicken in one of the shopping malls I visited, so I decided to give it a try. I was a little surprised to find it different from the KFC at home, but not by too much. The chicken coating on the fingers was just a little more like the way they do fried food in Japan. It is hard to put my finger on the difference, maybe slightly more like tempura in some ways, not in others.

The menu is shown in pictures on the counter and in signs, so ordering is easy. The sides are a little different too, both in offerings and in the nature of how they are done. The potato wedges... review »

I Love Those Chickens Grown In A Tube

Oh my goodness... My mouth is in heaven. I haven't been to a KFC since that email was being sent around saying that KFC gentically alters their chickens and growns them in a tube without beaks or feathers. Well, my hunger got the best of me and I went to see Commander Sanders. Let me tell you, those chicken strips that they have there are orgasmic. So moist. So crispy. So spicy, but in all the right ways. YUM. Now if they would only start selling stuffing.

Nothing like it was when I was a kid!

The chicken has gotten entirely too greasy in the last few years. We went there recently to one in TN and the chicken was so greasy, that was all you could taste. Also, the gravy is a different recipe, and the mashed otatoes are always crusty. This chain has gone way down hill. The only thing still good about KFC are the biscuits!

Quite possibly the worst fast food chain ever.

Visited the KFC in Carlisle, PA several times over the course of a month and finally gave up, having never eaten one bite from there. They never have chicken, and their staff is rude.
