Most HelpfulI have already written a glowing review about the KFC restaurant in my area and especially KFC Coleslaw but not without realizing that their glorious fried chicken was destined to be a once-in-a-while treat for someone like me -- so it was with some interest that I watched the commercials about the introduction...

Most HelpfulI was looking forward to trying the chicken, because it looked so great on TV. (Maybe the HD went too far?) We live in South Orange County, CA. With coupon in hand, I was turned away at the counter of the Rancho Santa Margarita store on the free chicken, and given a "form" to fill out as a rain check. I...
review »WOW ! Kentucky Fried Chicken has new GRILLED CHICKEN !
I am truly amazed and delighted that Kentucky Fried chicken has new menu items.
Most chains and fast food places offer healthier choices these days and FINALLY KFC
has jumped on that band wagon. It is great that fast food is becoming more nutritional
and concerned for the health and eating habits of their customers.
KFC has several different promotional offers all over the USA so don't miss your chance for a free sample leg or thigh.
I was not aware of the free sample offer- that did not get me to the store.
I was driving nearby I smelled that...
I had heard about the new kfc grilled chicken from a email that said you can try one peice free. i love free! So off to kfc i went, i was not really sure what to expect. I know kfc for their fried chicken, extra crispy, pure heaven, I love their chicken. Now grilled? why change a good thing. So i arrive at kfc and get in line and recieve my chicken all wrapped up, real nice presentation, very impressed, now i am excited.
I hurry out to my car and dive in, i was expexting a leg, but was pleasently suprised to find a nice looking grilled thigh. Yeaaaa, dinner, it was wonderful. I really enjoyed...
review »I was anxious to try the new Kentucky Grilled Chicken, but was disappointed when I did. It tastes fine, but the pieces are really tiny. I ate it with my son's family and the chicken legs were a perfect fit in my 2-year-old grandson's hand. My son is a normal 6 ft tall man, and he joked that he felt like a giant eating it. It was no joke, I honestly think they must use cornish hens. It's smaller than rotisserie chicken.
Pieces are small - smaller than the fried stuff. Taste is rather bland and the breasts are tough, dry and chewy. It's a no-go for me.
The KFC Grilled Chicken is horrible. I tried both wing an breast. Neither come CLOSE with Burger King's Grilled Chicken Patty for $1.49 (My FAAAVVE!) or McDonald's Grilled Chicken Patty $1.10. It's also delicious.
I love to grill and my number one thing is NEVER have DRY meat. I HATE dry meat. KFC's G.C's is very very dry. While when you first get it may look juicy but that is ONLY because of the skin! Once you get past that...well you really just want to give it to your dog.
In conclusion, don't spend your money on this. it's not worth it. Not even CLOSE. You're better off getting their fried...
review »Let me start by saying it's really hard for me to be disgusted by food. Even with mediacore items I would often see where they were headed and appreciate it for what it is.
I am seriously shocked at how many people like this grilled chicken from KFC. I went with some friends to take advantage of the freebie. Decided to go ahead and get a bucket since it was lunch time for us. Tried the thigh, the drum and the wing. Dipped them in ketchup, honey bbq sauce and honey mustard. There was absolutely NOTHING that made this chicken taste good. The word "bland" is too soft of a word to describe...
review »I purchased my grilled chicken at the KFC in Buckeye, Arizona. My husband and I decided to try the new grilled chicken. I ordered him a two piece, leg and wing meal. I ordered a grilled breast. When I got the food home, I was shocked at how small the pieces were. I have attached a picture of the meal. It shows only one side and a biscuit because the second side was an ear of corn. Notice the size of the chicken compared to the biscuit. I emailed KFC and received a letter and a $10 coupon. I am not sure if this was a fluke, inferior chicken due to the rush by the Oprah coupon or...
review »I generally dont like take out food too much but KFC Kentucky Grilled Chicken is very quick and healthy almost like I grilled it myself.
I would even buy it for a gathering and no one would know the difference. :)
I like the grilling over the breading cause they dont have to soak it in all that grease.
Its a good way on a small budget to eat healthy
MY SON WAS JASON WAS THE 1ST IN THE FAMILY TO TRY KFC GRILLED CHICKEN WHICH HE SAID WAS DRY AND TOUGH.1WEEK LATER I BOUGHT A 10 PIECE BUCKET ,WHICH WAS NOT NEARLY AS LARGE AS A 10 PIECE FRIED BUCKET .THE REASON BEING THE PIECES ARE MUCH SMALLER AND HE WAS RIGHT IT WAS BOTH TOUGH AND DRY. ORIGINALS GREAT BUT THIS GRILLED CHICKEN IS A REAL LOSER! WONT BUY AGAIN
Love the flavor. My husband complains it's too dry. I agree. The biggest problem is the size of the pieces. My ten year old son had 4 pieces. I ate three. Unbelievable. There is no meat. Not worth the price.
I bought KFC's Kentucky Grilled chicken for the first time last night, glad to be dragging home a bucket not filled with crispy grease. My husband bit into the first piece and exclaimed, "Mmmm! Nomnomnom!", so I sunk my jaws into the next piece and must say I agree. It's delicious. Normally I don't eat chicken skin, avoiding the extra fat and calories, but this stuff was too good not to eat the skin. I probably will not be buying this again anytime soon for that reason alone... can't resist the skin on this stuff.
I was disappointed with the excessive salt, however. It seems it would be just as...
review »KFC's grilled chicken is way better than I expected. It almost has a BBQ taste, this is my new favorite way to eat chicken! I am telling all of my friends and family about this new find. I used to love their crispy chicken, but now I have fallen for the grilled. It's good for you too!
