I bought one of these beds through Bed-in-a-Box.com. I looked at many inexpensive beds before buying one of these. Most budget Beds are made in Canada, from soft pine wood. They're often (from Internet reviews) poorly manufactured, & poorly finished. What a pleasure to buy a quality product made in the USA. They're made in Georgia. All the holes lined right up. All the pieces were sanded nice & smooth. All stressed hardware is metal. Fast N easy setup, & is very sturdy. They're made from poplar, a hardwood. It also doesn't squeak a bit. In an environment full of ripoffs & shoddy construction practices, it's nice to find some affordable, made in the USA quality.
